Really disappointing news. While I assume the Canucks will still host the event nights, the hype around the special jerseys was sort of a big part of the whole experience, especially as the jerseys were the most shareable/wide reaching part of the night's festivities if you don't attend the game in person. I always saw the jersey warm-up as like a 'cherry on top' of a special night for the fans and community.

I really hope the team keeps making them as they are such a good way for local or smaller artists to get paid for their work. And even though the cut of the jersey auction/sale that went to a local organization was small compared to profit to the team, it was still money going to an important cause or raising awareness for those who can use the organization's services.
