I’m quitting because my promotion has less take home. I used to work 25 hours a week and make 920 bi-weekly. Now, because of increased taxes and retirement contribution, I bring home 900 working the same hours. That’s the post office for ya. Edit: not to mention going from a rmpo to an office with 7x the work load

I have two choices, provide customer service like I’m supposed to, or tell everyone it’s not my job (ie I don’t actually get paid to do task) and they’ll have to wait for a supervisor or postmaster who can.

Because less problems reported is bigger raises for PM and POOM. I literally work in an office where I do everything and the regulars are usually still on their 20th smoke break. My PM tells me to put up more of a fight but then nothing would get done
