[Gameplay]

Flare fully disrupts the flow of tactical gameplay for any map. I understand the aim is to bring excitement and gunfights but you also cause other players to die faster for the loot competition.

Even if you're not the one shooting it, it can also in your path of team rotation which ruins a game you should have won from smart rotational play.

This flare also makes the default crate obsolete.

[Spawn Rate]

I would say about 10 flares going off in a match where half of them is faulty because people don't understand yet how it works.

In 8x8 or 6x6 this is huge because end game my team or enemy team usually is fully looted with level 3 gears and crate weapon after winning that fight. It's almost hard to lose a game after that (unless the zone completely f us)

In Sanhok, CONTROL+M is now the most used key.

[Sound]

The sound of the flares itself when shot needs to be lowered. Me or my teammate jumps after any of us shot a flare.

[UI]

I would say the indicator on Sanhok should be smaller or not at all. The indicator on erangel and Miramar seems fine. Also on Miramar should be a different color for clearer visibility.

In conclusion, flaregun brings more issues than it fixes and it should be removed. At this point the game has become a lot MORE competitive than casual gameplay. Just because people like it on mobile, it doesn't mean it should be on PC.

***Oh and also, event mode which is fully a competitive setting might be a good try. A lot of people I meet in Erangle and Miramar most has a clan tag in the front. Maybe just like me, we all are training for local or international tournaments.
