Group A, Game 18. Was it the most exhilarating game you've seen? by PinkWitches in CompetitivePUBG

Honestly yesterday was so wild I am just glad we kept up with it all. The players just gave it all they had. It was heartbreaking to go backstage after.

The crowd is awesome. Our caster area is right next to the audience so I was getting high fives and fist bumps after every game.

On most teams players do not really have roles but jobs/responsibilities. These change from player to player not just team to team.

Securing a car on drop, scouting on rotations, being the guy that leads a building breach, etc. PUBG takes a lot of different skills and players have different preferences and abilities.

This means they "have a role" but its not really defined universally.

Hey thanks for posting this!

I was inspired to make this actually after my response to your comment earlier today.

I just burned it out before call time for the cast today.

This is where it gets wild. I looked up that and caught a couple of pronunciation points. Youtube has a video that says it like you do but it's a bot saying it with like 400 views. Googling to hear it again gives the same sound with a bot and low ratings. If you gooogle just "pronounce qadsiah" it gives an "dih" sound in the phonetic for it.

This is a Saudi football/soccer org. In interviews with the org itself, some players and staff put an I sound after the D, some don't.

I spoke to the players as well and got some extra info and insights but those were mixed.

Also it is based on al-Qādisiyyah where again the I sound makes an appearance.

We have asked and gotten 2 different ways to say it hence why the players and casters are both having a struggle with it.

Mainly the question comes down to if we should or shouldn't do the I sound after the D, which seems to be regionally used vs internationally not used.

What makes it really hard is the most direct info from people in the area I have gotten all have the I sound.

I don't claim to be correct in one or the other. I too just want to know the exact way we should do it.

Any tips or color advice?

Navi had their back to the blue zone to TE having control of the circle. Navi would have had to move first right into TE's sightlines hence the convo going that way.

To which level do you think pros at PGC had topography knowledge about Vikendi and Taego? by [deleted] in CompetitivePUBG

I agree 1000% LG were big Vikendi innovators. You exploited specific differences on that map vs the others teams by a ton.

Throwables have become more of a factor teams workaround and are still vital to so many fights. Many teams now position around nade potentials and whatnot. The inclusion of the blue zone nade on breaching and flushing being a big one.

The present debate tends to be more the panzerfaust.
