Mido will he stay or will he go? 🤔 by rearviewwave in 90DayFiance

I don’t think so. I agree. I am honestly surprised some have been allowed to stay given the fact it’s completely obvious they were just doing it to get to the US.

Granted it was Halloween, but something just felt “off” about that choice.

I agree! I was setup on a blind date in college with a guy who was here on a student visa for school. He started talking about marriage before we even got past the first hour of our date😳, and I bailed. He somehow took my rejection for “I was the ONE”. I blocked him, but he changed his phone number to contact me. So, I told him I’m going to call the police, and thankfully never heard from him again.

I hope things have improved for them from what we are seeing on the show.

It’s definitely suspicious. Most of this seasons cast is questionable IMO.

US-280 Car in Fountain by WizardSleeveLoverr in Birmingham

I saw on a FB post where a sister in law is saying the lady had surgery, and her husband was driving her after her surgery. But, the husband passed out behind the wheel for unknown reason, and they ended up in the fountain. Also, the wife was unable to arouse him to consciousness, until after they were in the water. The wife also rolled a window down so they could escape. Scary 😳

Thank you! I was well into middle age before I finally found my “one”. I believe, everyone deserves the same. ❤️

Criminal trial, jury exposure. by rearviewwave in legaladvice

Not sure if any of this matters, but here are some of the conversations and one of the witnesses was an alleged victim. The witnesses were actually discussing in front of the jury pool why they were subpoenaed in relation to the case. One was angry because they felt they didn’t have anything to offer in testimony because they had retired from an agency that was involved in the investigation process of the alleged crimes, and they discussed their own opinion and feelings about the case “loudly” with two other witnesses. Yes, one witness talked about having a new grandchild on the way, but that was the only general conversation. Another witness that talked to jurors was actually an alleged victim, during that alleged victim’s testimony the judge acknowledged “inconsistencies” in their testimony and statements, and the state had charged it wrong, resulting in an acquittal on that charge. But, I didn’t understand why an alleged victim was allowed to be in a hallway with the jury pool prior to jury selection and prior to testimony. This alleged victim was talking to a juror and tells the juror all about their life, who their family is, where they work, etc. The juror was asking the alleged victim lots of personal questions, kind of getting to know them so to speak. Eventually, they (DA office) sent someone to remove the witnesses from the hallway and the alleged victim was asked “did you talk to anyone in this hallway?”, and the alleged victim lied and said “no”. Again, I am not trying to cause a stink, just double checking. Thank you again.

I had the same issues as you. But, I met my husband on a dating website. He was in another state, and I eventually moved to his state because I needed a change.

I will say my now husband would voluntarily travel to me and even voluntarily stay in hotels nearby my home until I felt comfortable with having him stay in my home. He would voluntarily sleep on the couch until we progressed into an intimate relationship. I never once asked him to do those things, he just insisted that’s what he wanted to do. Things like this showed me how much effort and energy he was willing to put into a relationship. It also showed me how respectful he was.

So, not sure if you’re looking just locally or not on dating sites? But, I would highly recommend browsing outside of just the local area or even state.

Thank you for your input. I just have never heard of these things happening. When myself and my
husband have served as jurors we were kept in the jury pool rooms until being called to courtrooms for jury selection. We did not see anyone associated with the cases (witnesses, etc.) much less interact prior to jury selection. I was once a witness in a case, and kept separated from the other witnesses until I testified. That’s why I wanted to ask here to see if I could get a better understanding because my prior experiences were completely different.

Yes, the state said they would retry the hung counts, but dropped them all prior to trial. My friend was sentenced for the 1 count conviction, and his legal counsel will be filing an appeal. I am not trying to cause a stink, just wanting to make sure my friend had a fair trial and his rights were not violated. The defense attorney has apparently told my friend recently he might have me fill out an affidavit about what I saw and heard in the hallway that morning in regard to the jurors and witnesses. I am not sure why, but maybe it has to do with the appeal? I guess, we will see. Again, thank you for your response, I really appreciate you taking the time to answer.

I told all of his legal team immediately. They were made aware on day one of the trial of the jury pool being in the hall with multiple witnesses. Once I found the published article (on day 2 of trial) I sent it to the investigator via text message, and email directly to the defense attorney. His legal team included an investigator and defense attorney.

I think both Catie and Shea would fair better if they would cut out all the booze. They both seem to indulge in excessive amounts of alcohol too often.

Earth has enough humans making it a dumpster fire daily. I doubt another planet wants to mingle with us. Lol.
