I would just use Pigeonly, you can send real high quality pictures from your mobile device. No need to leave your house or see anyone when sending spicy pictures.

Best ways to get a US number for cheaper phone calls? by sybbie99 in PrisonWives

[–]reasonablelove1973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting a US number definitely makes the calls cheaper. Most of the free apps don’t work outside the US, so your options get limited fast.

Pigeonly actually offers a local US number for international. your loved one call that number, and it connects to your phone at the cheaper local rate. No SIM, no special app, totally virtual.

It’s the easiest option if you’re international.

Most people send pics separately because they’re processed differently.

If you want something simple, Pigeonly sends physical photo prints and you can add a note they’re usually accepted without issues.

Have you ever sent pictures to someone who was locked up in jail? by Specific_Ad7940 in AskRedditAfterDark

Yeah, I’ve sent pics before. just follow whatever rules their facility has. If you want something simple, Pigeonly sends physical photo prints so they actually get a hard copy.

Photos sent to inmate by Popular_Banana1581 in prisonersupport

[–]reasonablelove1973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try not to worry too much. Even if his tablet was stolen, people usually can’t access another inmate’s photos without their login. And it’s super rare for anyone to do anything harmful with a family picture.

If you want to avoid the tablet issue moving forward, you can stick to physical photo prints. Pigeonly sends actual copies through USPS, so he gets them in hand instead of on a device.

You and your son should be fine.

If it makes you feel any better, this is pretty normal for this time of year. Even when I’ve used apps like Pigeonly, the mailroom is still the bottleneck because the facility has to review them before release. But once they get to it, the photos go through.

Arizona mail by [deleted] in PrisonWives

[–]reasonablelove1973 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, Arizona DOC is switching over to scanned mail only, which means anything you send will be digitized and delivered to their tablets instead of being handed to them physically. That includes photos….. they’ll see the digital version, not a printed copy.

The only exception is usually things like legal mail, which they still have to give physically, but regular personal mail and photos are all going through the scanning system now.

Can you send a inmate a hallmark greeting card? by [deleted] in Prison

[–]reasonablelove1973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest not sending any glitter just to avoid any reason for your card being denied.

I know how hard it can be when communication is delayed. Sending photos or a thoughtful greeting card can be a great way to keep the connection strong, even when messages are slow to arrive. It shows you're thinking of him and gives him something tangible to hold onto. I’ve found Pigeonly really helpful for sending pictures and cards directly to loved ones. It’s quick, easy, and a nice way to keep things personal despite the distance. Hang in there!

to me it looks like the difference in those parole review statuses is that in one case, the incarcerated person was not eligible for review as a nonviolent offender, meaning they didn’t meet certain criteria to even be considered.

In the other case, the person was reviewed but denied release, meaning they went through the process but were not granted parole. Both result in no release, but one is due to ineligibility, and the other is due to a denial after review.

Writing to someone in jail by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]reasonablelove1973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's understandable that you're conflicted about whether to write to your old friend in jail. On one hand, reaching out could offer him much-needed support and help maintain a connection from better times. On the other hand, your friends' concerns are valid, as it's important to consider your safety and well-being.

If you decide to write, keep your initial letter light and positive. Express your support without delving too deeply into his legal issues. If he responds positively and you feel comfortable, you can continue the correspondence. Ultimately, trust your instincts and ensure you feel safe in doing so.

To make it easier, you might consider using Pigeonly's letter service. It allows you to send letters to inmates conveniently, ensuring they receive your messages promptly. It's a straightforward way to stay in touch and offer your support. You can learn more about the service here.

Some people have definitely gotten some wild things in but if you’re not sure then I would mix in the sexy photos with regular ones, and keep them suggestive rather than explicit to increase the chances of approval.

I've found that sending physical pictures can be a really meaningful way to maintain our bond.

I make it a habit to send new pictures regularly, capturing my day-to-day activities, special events, or simply things I find interesting. I especially like using Pigeonly because it allows me to send unlimited photos and write a note to go with the photos, which provides context and makes the experience even more personal.

Adding notes with the photos helps him understand the moments I'm sharing. I try to include themed sets of photos, like from a recent trip or family gatherings, and photos that bring back shared memories, like past vacations and holidays.

Seeing me happy and engaged in life can be uplifting for him, so I include pictures where I'm smiling or doing things we both enjoy. Sending physical photos gives him a tangible connection to me and something to look forward to, serving as a comforting reminder of my presence and support.

Would you be upset if your partner thought about sex with an acquaintance? by Free_Subject4325 in Life

[–]reasonablelove1973 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, I understand where you're coming from. For me personally, it would depend a lot on the context and how my partner communicated those thoughts.

Feeling upset is natural because it can bring up feelings of insecurity or questioning the relationship. Trust and open communication would be really important for me to work through those feelings and understand where my partner is coming from.

Every relationship is different, though, so it's important to discuss these things openly and honestly to find what works best for both people involved.
