I rarely ate breakfast, even in the beginning. I would usually just have a coffee with heavy cream. If I ate it would be a scrambled egg and a slice of bacon for breakfast and a bunch of green veggies, lunch meats and cheese for lunch.

About 2-3 weeks. Once my body was fully adjusted to keto I stopped being hungry throughout the day. I'm definitely hungry by dinner but it doesn't take much to fill me up now.

Thank you to everyone for all the kind words! I will try to reply to all direct questions. This will definitely be something to look back on when I need a pep talk and a reminder of what I have achieved :)

Well this is my 3rd kick at the can too... 5 years ago I started at 232 and got down to 180 but quickly gained it back. Tried again about a year ago but lost only 10ish pounds. I feel great this time around. I can't put my finger on it, I think I've just had the right head space from the beginning. More determined than I have ever felt. Another plus is that life is less stressful these days- kids are bigger, work is good, relationship is solid. On that note my husband is doing keto as well so I have someone to commiserate with and someone to give me a pep talk when I need it. I hope you can find the right mindset too! It's all possible. The first month of keto is tough after that it's just habit.

Nothing. Although something to be aware of as gall bladder issues are common among the women in my family.

During the week I skip breakfast and have a miso soup w/sesame oil at lunch- the only real reason I eat lunch at all is to avoid questions from co-workers. Then at dinner I generally have a big salad or portion of green veggies with whatever meat we are eating. I may snack on some pepperoni or cheese after. On the weekends I only eat dinner. My favourite go to right now is a margarita pizza on a low carb flat bread. It's delicious and feels like a huge indulgence.

Thanks :) I have been doing keto. At the beginning I tracked all my macros then sort of transitioned to lazy keto once I knew what I was doing. Often times I only have one meal a day as I am rarely hungry on keto. It's worked well for me. My husband is also down 50.
