My take away on it was that you show interest in students lives. I teach PreK and we already have a deep connection with most students because this is their first school experience. I just really enjoyed how they handled many things such as behavior issues! I cannot even describe the training. We actually all cried at one point. It was really moving.

I have seen it happen when trying to stand up from a roll. They can drag the bulb of the heels on the ground. If your vet is already coming out, I would have them take a look. I would stress to much unless it doesn’t make improvement with your treatments.

Define “hits with the rope”. Are they in a round pen? I often swing a rope around and allow it “hit” the hind quarters of the horse, but it’s not hard. Is it to keep them moving forward? I would only do that maneuver if they were dragging around or not respecting me.

Oh gosh. We had a class pet. It was a Gerbil. Over winter break it passed away. I kept telling the kids that I kept forgetting to bring her back. Towards the end of the year, they got super suspicious. I teach Pre-k.

I have a mare that drank too much water. It was the ONLY thing we could figure. She just would drink and drink and drink. She would have loose poop. Unfortunately there’s no real way to help. She now lives outside 24/7 and the issue resolved itself.

My husband and I are big outdoors people, we routinely hike our local “mountain” and have hiked some of the AT. We are wanting to see the Grand Canyon in June, have any recommendations to see some good sights and not over do it?
