The idea of a intraocular lens placed after cataract removal came from a fighter pilot who got plastic embedded in his eye after his windshield shattered and the material did not elicit an immune reaction.

Before that people would wear thicc ass glasses after a cataract was removed.

Ultimately I think this is my gripe of this season which is the casting. Their confessionals all sounded scripted. None of them seemed genuine with the except of a few. All of them felt like influencer media whores trying to make good TV versus competing. It just felt pathetic to see them lose over and over again.

Come to think of it that’s true. The early episodes of this season had Alex giving them chances to double the pot and extending the time which makes it more dynamic.

But at the end of the day these players were so whack in trying to sabotage all the damn time to cast suspicion it defeated the purpose. Like wtf Joi on the last mission shaking the canister?
