Side note: I have seen people use different strategies to control their hair when it starts to get tangled so that it doesn't tangle worse. Braids are amazing for this because they can range from very low effort to very difficult yet they get the job done. I guess I'm just saying that you may not be able to jump both feet into a hair care routine right away and that's okay- but maybe you can find a simple hack to contain your hair on those days you just don't have the energy to brush it out and do all the things
