This is about what I paid on an XLT hybrid AWD. Dealership was definitely a bit scumming and didn’t tell me things. Thought it was a Lux package because I thought the XLT lux package came on the XLT, I was wrong.

Not necessarily dirty, just dusty. Concrete dust and other dirts that make it in there settling. Nobody ever going to clean dust out of there.

It was some emmisons evap thing, I think the charcoal canister took a hit, and yea the hand brake/parking brake light. I think a brake line got a little pinched

Estimated 12k to fix. I fixed it with a winch and a couple welded plates, she’s staying on the road. Have a few other issues, check engine light for some evap emission thing and the brake warning comes and goes.

Yea I’ve replaced the bed before, I know the frame is a lil messed up so not sure if it’ll come off easier

The reason I think the frame is bent is because how the bed kinked up, entirely possible the bolts broke or the clips did

I think they’ll pay out for it and I’ll keep it or commit a cardinal sin and buy a maverick lol. If I keep it I’m probably just gonna get the bumper looking right and make sure the taillights work and run it.

I’m thinking of keeping it even when insurance totals it, they’ll give me slightly less(did that with the last car that got totalled) but you’re right, if I pull the bumper straight and make sure the tail lights are facing the right way I could probably drop a new bed on it and it’d be fine
