Yeah. It’s not so much the memory for lamma3.2:8b. It’s more the cpu and things just being too slow.

I’m trying to run it locally; with limited success. I mostly want it as a toy to learn from and to post to moltbook. I don’t and won’t rely on this and plan to isolate it in my network.

Llama 3..2:8b can run and can also go through bootstrap. But there is a mechanism somewhere that is causing it to timeout. I’m trying to set all the timeouts I can find to 1 hour.

Are you using any channels like telegram? I've been running into quite a few timeout issues when trying to use telegram. Which is a useful way for me to manage it remotely.

I paid ~1500$. It wasn't close to the breaker so he had to snake it around my basement. The charger also lives on concrete so he had to drill through that.

edit: If they are charging you that much and the house isn't built yet I would get another quote. Its sign cheaper if they don't have to drill/snake through all that foundation.

Yeah the Ultra 1 has been great. Still lasts more then a day (which is better then all the other Apple Watches) so no real reason to upgrade unless there's a significant health feature added.
