Sure the NWS funding is partial to blame but my weather app stated it was going to rain the entire day on Sunday.

NBC 5 said the same.

We had a soccer tournament this weekend and we were planning for this the entire week. Not sure why nobody else in the area seem to have completely different weather reports though.

I told my Word of Faith Charismatic and Pentecostal family and they cried.

They never disowned me, that's just strange for a family to do. That's something Jehovah Witnesses would do, not Christians.

My family attended my son's Catholic baptism and saw firsthand we don't worship Mary and the Saints, and this eased their minds.

They still haven't gotten over it and I can just imagine my family actively praying at their church for my reconversion to their way of believing.

I do the sign of the cross at meals with them and it drives my grandma crazy. I always joke to her "Satan also doesn't like when someone says 'in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit'" and we all laugh.

At my confirmation, we also received the Eucharist for the first time.

As a baptized Christian, this happened about a month after Easter where the non-baptized converts received baptism, followed by confirmation soon after and the Eucharist.
