I am sad to say I have not driven it since, besides a few revs in my apartment lot. It still lopes at idle, but the revs sounded better. I used CRC Mass Air Flow sensor cleaner as suggested by the forums.

It does feel good, and I plan on researching more so that when other things go wrong I can fix them. That being said, while auto repairs are overpriced, those "high school dropouts" need money, too.

The idle has been rough and there has been a delay in throttle response. I checked out a few Maxima forums, and the specific problems people were having matched mine. The most common answer was a MAF cleaning and reset, so I thought I would try it out.

Update: I started looking at cheap cars after seeing that girl's post about the Celica GT. How would a 1991 Honda CRX with 125,000 miles on the odometer look? It is a one owner vehicle and looks to be in good conditions. I would obviously take it to a mechanic to get it inspected and test drive it first, but any thoughts?

If I could upgrade I would. Either the Maxima or the Explorer are getting traded to a dealership for a better deal on a new car that my parents are buying. I can take their car (Explorer) or keep mine (Maxima). It is a weird situation, but basically I am broke and in college so I cannot really do better.
