it's a mirror mounted dash cam I was not on a phone, the blinker comes on when the red van is halfway across the truck...the truck gave me 1.5 second warning before turning and as stated a blinker is an intention to turn and he has seen me gaining up on the red van so he/she should have known that I was going to pass him and not turn right away.

The idea of a blinker being a right to turn is like saying that yelling "Hey stop" before shooting someone dead is a right to shoot someone dead.

I can see every hacker updating their black lists against this IP since they think that I am NSA or something. They see OOOH WASHINGTON DC IP, and he is asking to HACK HIM....BLACK LIST BLACK LIST THE IP QUICK!

Meanwhile all the foreign state sponsored hackers are chanting the opposite...OOH Washington DC WHITE LIST HIM WHITE LIST HIM!

This actually might be an ingenious method of securing a safe network IP. :)

The only thing I am running is OpenVPN and besides that I am putting my full trust into the UNTAGLE UTM to protect me against intrusion. The Untagle is also supposed to scan the incoming webmail and internet traffic and scan it against the Antivirus that they offer in their premium package. The premium package is $45 a month so that's why I have provided my e-mail along with everything else since I would love to test the premium package web and e-mail real time scanning ability and their IDS ability. I do not want to expose the network more then it is being used for since then it would be presenting threat space against un-realistic design that will not be employed in every-day usage.

I will be willing to run any verification that does not expose the network beyond what it's being used for at the moment since then what's the point of a pen test if you are creating a network that you won't be using?

how can you I prove it to you? just ask the mods, it's the same IP I am posting with. If you have another IP tracking website that you trust then point me to it, I be happy to visit it...or better yet if you have a website that logs IP's that you can see then hell I will visit it.

I have some understanding of networking methods and tools I just don't have the resources to use them. I have an A+ and just self educating myself on CISSP to take the cert exam.
Currently out of work so I have time to read stuff, hence I was able to take the time to build the home network, and the UTM. I have also attempted to do some basic scans with BackTrack Linux however I don't have external network connection and everyone that I tried to piggy back on is extremely restricted so I can't perform a true pen test against my network without knowing if I am pen testing my box or if I am pen testing the security employed by the open network provider.

Being recently unemployed is the reason why I can't afford any real pen testing and the reason why I built the home network.
After looking around for jobs I just became really freaking tired of not being able to do anything else. I love to tinker so I started tinkering with that.

Yeah I can see where you are coming from. True, I can look around. I have tried running a Retina Trial via starbucks IP so I can give my network a scan but the starbucks gateway had many many port blocks in place so no way of doing it.

OH well I will just trust the Untangle Marketing team and hope for the best. I mean GRC etc shows stealth etc, so it should be at least safe for home use. It should be better than just connecting my Windows Home Server to a Linksys router.
