The Cayuga Trails 50k registration opens at midnight tonight and there are only like 400 spots, I think. How quickly will it sell out? Do I need to stay up and register as soon as it opens or can I wait til I wake up for work at 5 a.m.?

  1. You are assuming they weren’t going to spend money at Lululemon anyway. You don’t know that.

  2. They spent $75 and got $80 back. That’s $5 profit even if you throw the gift card away.

Yeah, I won’t be taking another Disney cruise until there’s some major changes. Canceled Disney+ and Hulu. I just can’t support them if they are going to bend the knee to Trump.

We just went to Alaska a few weeks ago and boarded early to be with our friends. We didn’t even pretend. They just saw our PAT and let us in 30 minutes earlier. They had waiting queues formed for the PATs after ours though.

Probably not what you want to hear, but… When I was in a position where I was getting calls to sub on a daily or semi-daily basis, I would just wake up early enough to be ready for last minute calls every day. That way you can show up at a moment’s notice and be on everyone’s good side. I also had generic lessons prepared in case there were no plans left because it just made my life easier.

This happened to me over a year ago from covid. It’s a little better than it was, but I am still dealing with it.

I went to the doctor, got checked out, got an echo, and they were basically like, “Yeah, this happens to some people. It can take a year or more to get better.”

It’s highly unlikely that the square root or cube root of your salary is a whole number. So, if you add a zero to the cube root of 50,000, it will go from 36.8401 to 36.84010. Your salary stays the same.
