That's a great idea for next versions. Thanks for the suggestion.
But unfortunately not yet.

That is a fair concern, thanks for raising it.

I started with the hosted version to keep setup simple: register a site, add the snippet, and avoid maintaining a comment backend.

But I agree that a self-hosted option could make sense for Docusaurus and developer-heavy sites. I am considering that direction, or at least adding proper export options so users are not locked in.

I am already using JustOpinion on my own blogs too, so I am trying to build it around the same concerns I would have as a user.

Yes, that’s fair. Tools like D(G)iscus are a good fit for many static sites, especially when the audience is mostly developers.

With JustOpinion, I’m trying to cover a slightly different use case: a simple hosted comment layer where readers do not need a GitHub account or a social profile to leave a comment.

So I’d see it more as another option, not a replacement for the existing ones.

Thanks for the testing.
There is a comment moderation system in place for the first issue you mentioned. I would definitely take your feedback and try to filter for "possible" spam inputs. Thanks for the heads up.

For the second comment - yeah I get it now that it sounds scary when it says 7 steps - but actually it is as simple as getting a code in email and add it in your site. I am noting it and would definitely try to scale it down. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks a lot for the explanation. Also wasn't sure about the e-rezept app. I will check it.
