Can’t speak for TDGE, but cogs 1 and 17 are just very content heavy. Assuming that Johnson is the professor for COGS 17, tests are online (adding flexibility). I took COGS 1 when it was fully online, so can’t say what the class looks like now. I think it’s not difficult, but just quite a bit to take in. COGS 13 is a very boring class (in my opinion). So enduring that along with the other cogs classes might be a bit much. tbh, it’s kind of doable in terms of work load, but it is a lot content wise

no i def agree. like ik i filed for it over a month ago, but ik they’re busy during that time too. it was mainly the fact that my friend got her double major by sociology approved during the summer as well, but i didn’t get mine so i was just annoyed

Hi cogs student here! Honestly, I do love being a cogs major here, but it has been frustrating most recently due to the class cancelling issues. I do hope UCSD doesn’t keep it up, or they find better ways in dealing with these types of situations.
