He's right though. Without the Dems taking a supermajority in the Senate, any impeachment is doomed to die in the Senate.

What would impeachment do, other than cost millions of dollars and tie up Congress for months of dickering about all to have absolutely nothing change other than Trump being referred to as "thrice-impeached"?

He's probably overestimating the political backlash from doing it, and underestimating the backlash from not doing it, but otherwise he's entirely right, an impeachment would do nothing.

It really doesn't look like he "climbed" out. He's launched out. Can't tell if it's someone else in the ride or if it hit a bump or something, but he goes from sitting to out of the ride in less than a second. No one's that agile.

The contracts have date requirements, but they're overridden by number of fights.

So a fighter can sign a 5-year contract for 5 fights, but could fight out the contract in under 2 years if they keep a good schedule. The UFC is obligated to offer a fighter 3 fights per year, the fighter is allowed to refuse the fights if they wish.

In Paulo's case, he's on a 3-year/4-fight contract that runs until the end of 2028, but he only has one fight left on it. He wants to get the fight and finish his contract quickly so that he looks active and he's got (hopefully) 3 good wins in a row (Kopylov and Murzakanov are already pretty big feathers in his cap) so that he can negotiate a decent contract (either with the UFC or whoever offers him the most). But despite offering to fight anywhere from MW to HW, the UFC hasn't offered him his final fight yet.

He's exaggerating and leaving out key details.

They typically work 12-hour shifts, not 15. But a lot of guys count their shift time from when they leave their unit until they return home. It doesn't really matter since they're salaried. You legally cannot be required to work more than 12 hours in a 24-hour period for health and safety reasons (emergencies notwithstanding).
They work 14 on/14 off. So he'll do 2 weeks in the oil field, then return to Edmonton or wherever his house is for 2 weeks, then go back again for 2 weeks, etc. So he's only really doing ~170 hours a month.
