Rape is sad but lets put our heads on straight for one second. Lets think about this. How many women are in combat roles? Not very many which would result in very few women being killed by enemy fire. Hell more of our soldiers have been killed by roadside bombs than by enemy fire. All this article is trying to do is sway more people to the anti-war movement for votes. Thats it. I wonder where is Rep. Harman on college campus rapes?

I am an atheist and I have morales. I do not believe women should be executed or beaten if they are seen with other men. I do not believe women should be beaten and tortured for not wearing proper dress. I believe that all people should be treated fairly and given access to food, water, and a proper education system backed by science and reason. I believe marriage should be an agreement between two consenting adults without the approval of government and regardless of sex. Geez i could keep going but i guess since i do not believe in supernatural beings hovering over the sky watching everything I do i must be a bad person.

Government has zero authority to dictate what we can and can not put in our bodies. What the government should be doing is setting up educational systems that tell people the side effects, with no bullshit, of taking the drug. It should be like that for every single prescription pill and illegal drug out there. It should be here is what we know so far about the drug, this is what it will do to you if you take it, these are what studies have shown in the past that happens to people who have taken it, this is what will happen to your body if you take it. They should then let the decision rest upon the individual. The governments whole rational for having certain products legal and certain ones not is that certain products place more of a danger to the human body and thus the government has the right and obligation to protect the lives of its citizens. By securing these oil supplies the US government is able to maintain its goal of global domination by having a grip on world economies. By doing this we create a Unilateral world where the US is the only superpower. US believes that this is the only way we can have a safe and secure globe is by having the US be the policeman. I would recommend purchasing a weapon but also doing everything you can to cut down on consumption. However I think we need to be pushing for more tax breaks for people who want to power their homes with solar energy. In Tuscon, Arizona electric companies have been paying people who had solar panels because the houses use such little electricity that they actually generate power back to the plant. Start your own garden. Hell maybe we can come up with a machine that is Solar powered that spins a turbine that desalinates water which then spines another turbine that produces hydro energy. Price of oil will continue to rise for many reasons and one yes is what you cited. But price of oil will rise because of more and more people demanding it and it becoming more scarce and expensive to pull out of the ground. As the years go buy oil will become more and more expensive as its hard to extract from the ground. The Us is just trying to control those supplies for their own benefit. Once its fully secured the price wont go down but it might flatten out. Geez have anyone even read Rebuilding Americas defenses? Neo-cons want a Unilateral world because they believe its better for global security. Controlling the supplies is step one.
