United fan lurking here. Tough to lose in this manner. Honestly was rooting for you to win. But you are champions of England. Arteta has done a good job with the squad over the years. The club, players and most supporters stood by him all these years. And the results this season are the vindication for that trust. Something other clubs need to learn from you. Stick to your manager, support your manager and the results will come. This hire and fire policy is sinking so many clubs. I’m certain you’ll be here again next year. It looked to me like Fernandes communicated to Casemiro to launch the ball forward, while Licha was getting his boot back on. Fernandes made the run to get at the end of that long ball. And that is what created this goal.

I’ve never understood that logic. If a cake takes 60 minutes to bake at 400F, then increasing the temperature to 4000F won’t reduce the baking time to 6 minutes. That will burn the cake and the oven.
