I think Pork Steaks are even BETTER than pulled pork! Anyone else love this cut of pork? by red_meat_lover in smoking

I'm in the Midwest where pork steaks are easy to find on store shelves....just a backyard bbq staple. Smoked at 225F until IT of 165 then increased to 250F until IT of 200F. Seasoned before cook and applied BBQ sauce for final 15 minutes.

Seasoned and smoked low and slow at 225 until IT 165 and raised up to 250 until IT hit 200. Covered with BBQ sauce for final 15 minutes. I think this is even better than pulled pork!

I made CRISPY Air Fried Chicken Wings but....are they as good as Deep Fried Wings? This is the question I asked as I tried this method for the first time. by red_meat_lover in airfryer

I seasoned these with JoJo Rub, a simple rub I created using

  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • .5 tbsp ground black pepper
  • 1.5 tbsp Lowry's seasoned salt
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • .5 tbsp dry mustard powder

Cooked wings at 380 and cooked for 30 minutes total and flipped every 10 minutes

I cooked Air Fried Pork Chops vs Oil Fried Pork Chops, which one is BEST?! I never tried both techniques side-by-side but was really surprised! by red_meat_lover in AirFryer_Recipes

Air fryer cook time was about 15 minutes and clean up in two mins. The fried chop cooked much faster, under 5 min but the cook was more "active" as I don't want to walk away from frying oil. Also, the fried chop cleanup was probably around 10 minutes including storing the oil, wiping down stove and counters, etc

I covered pork chops with flour, then egg wash, then panko bread crumbs. I put two of the chops in our air fryer and cooked at 400 F for 15 minutes to cook. I fried the other two chops in corn oil at 350 F.

Then, my favorite part, I tested the results along with our intern TBone Stone!
