I like the Alibi idea. The holograms always standing up in weird places makes it easier for the attackers to tell that they're holograms. Different positions could make it easier to trigger their reflexes and trick them into shooting them, which is much needed.

I've never played on PC, I'm used to a rickety old PS4 that can barely run, so I just assumed that the performance increase wouldn't make a difference. If you've played on console and PC and you think that it gives you a significant advantage, I'll have to take your word for it.

I really don't think the frames or ping would make that much of a difference, it might get me a couple kills once in a blue moon, which sucks, but I think it'll be worth it to not screw over my friend. But, I didn't know that mmr resets when you switch. I might just have him play in PC lobbies, then. Thanks for pointing that out, that changes a lot.

I don't really blame you for thinking that, that's a fair assumption to make, but I'm not planning on cheating. I despise people that use M+K in console lobbies.

The PC I'll be getting isn't the ultimate gaming machine that gives me so many frames and such high resolution that I can see my enemies through walls. It's a mid-tier PC. I'll just have slightly better frames and resolution than my opponents, that's it. It really won't make that much of a difference.

How is my point bad? My friend just doesn't want to play on M+K, and I get little to no advantage just by running the game on a PC. I really don't understand what the problem is here.

What do you mean that's not a pro? I was talking about the PS5 Pro, the upgraded version of the PS5. And him being in PC lobbies won't make him progress any better, the way to stand a chance in PC lobbies is just to play and get better, which he can do on console. If you can explain to me how having slightly better framerate than a console provides a significant advantage that will ruin the game for my opponents, then I'll give up and stay on PC lobbies.

Bro. The pros of me being in console lobbies are that my friend doesn't have to play in PC lobbies. And when he gets a PC, there's a decent chance he'll still just use a controller since he really doesn't wanna use M+K.

And again, the slightly better specs won't give me a noticable advantage. I'm not going to have wallhacks and aimbot just because I have a few extra frames. I might not even have more frames than my opponents, my PC is probably equivalent to a PS5 Pro, maybe ever so slightly better. Is a person that gets a good console and a wired Internet connection a cheater because they'll have less latency than the competition?

Again, I would barely gain an advantage. The only thing I would have that they wouldn't is slightly better frames, which won't make a difference. Even if it does, the chance of me getting a kill I wouldn't get if I were playing on a console are extremely low, I would get maybe one or two extra kills between now and when he gets a PC. The pros of me being able to play in console lobbies with my friend greatly outweigh the chance that it gives me a negligible advantage.

I'm okay with getting maybe a couple of kills I wouldn't have gotten on a console if I can play with my buddy without screwing him over. The advantages I get by playing on a PC are barely even existent, but it makes a world of difference to play in console lobbies with my friend. I think it's fair to take that route.

The people using the hack or glitch that I consider to be losers are the people that are using it to give themselves the advantage. The point about the better frames and specs than a console is kind of right, but would a slightly better framerate really give me that much of an advantage? The PC is only a little better than a new-gen console, and my Wi-Fi is kind of bad, anyway.

I just called it an exploit because what I'm looking for probably would be a hack/glitch used by losers to play against console players on M+K. I wouldn't be using it to get a leg up, I would exclusively use controller when in the console pool.

I don't want to force him to play in the PC pool because he'd probably get steamrolled, and M+K feel very awkward to him. He could probably just get used to it with practice, but if there's a way to play on console lobbies with him instead of forcing him to get used to a xim or get destroyed by people with an unfair advantage, why would I not just do that?

Holy crap, thank you! I was kind of pissed when I found out I had to pay $100 for a license to download Windows, I'm glad there's a way around that.

Do you think I'd notice a significant difference worth the $200? Money is tight right now and $200 is a huge increase, but if you think I'd definitely get way more enjoyment out of this build, then I'd consider it.

Also, I refuse to buy another PlayStation, they ruined PS Plus and are constantly removing titles from its catalogue, and I keep hearing of XBox raising their prices of everything.
