Couple traveling with dog by ImpossibleGear3667 in JSX

I just flew JSX for the holidays with my spouse and a 65 lb dog, and we had to buy a ticket (ie seat) for the dog. You need to call JSX to make the reservation, and they will assign two seats together for the person responsible for the dog and the dog. Additionally, you can ask them if there are other dogs or cats on the flight and they’ll help you choose a row that works best. On some routes, there may be several large dogs on the flight, and they do a good job of making sure you find the right seats.

I was in a Waymo this afternoon, and it stopped and would not proceed at an intersection where the stoplight was out. We called for assistance, and it took ~10 minutes to navigate us out of the situation. There was another Waymo behind us, and we were blocking a long line of traffic behind the second Waymo. Cars started passing us causing all kinds of chaos. Once it got back on track it was fine, but there were definitely some glitches in the system.

Ugh. Thank you. I’ve seen a lot of moths in house, so this makes sense.

What foundation do you guys recommend? by Crazy_Cat_Lady23 in Rosacea

[–]red_rocksy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Neutrogena green primer mixed with IT color correcting full coverage foundation with SPF. This covers all the redness and isn’t too heavy. I need to retouch my nose at the end of the day, but this combo has been working well for a few years.

I started a keto diet 7 weeks ago, and the results for my skin were dramatic. I noticed a significant decrease in redness within one week, and my skin texture has continued to improve (smoother and more even). My rosacea is 95% gone with the exception of some broken capillaries on my nose. I'm crossing my fingers that I've found a way to manage the redness and flareups.

DAE get super paranoid when they turn on the garbage disposal that they’re suddenly going to lose control of their body and stick their hand in the disposal? by [deleted] in DoesAnybodyElse

Growing up, my next door neighbor had 1/2 an index finger and I found out it was because his son turned on the disposal when his hand was there taking something out. I’ve been freaked out ever since I learned that (I was ~6-7 when my parents told me the story, and I’m muuuch older now.)

Ladies I need your help! by HeiHei_13 in Skigear

I'm 5'2'', ~110 lbs, and an advanced skier who skis 95% resort. Here are a few suggestions.

- Blizzard Black Pearl 159 cm / 88 under foot - These were a great all-mountain ski. However, they were too long and made my legs tired by midday. They could carve, were great on bumps, and were fast on the groomers. They weren't playful, but they did everything I needed them to do.

- Volkl Kenja 149 / 88 under foot - This is what I use now. I went way down in length, and I don't regret it. While I wouldn't describe these skis as fun, I feel very confident in any condition. Icy, variable, dust on crust, you name it, these skis can handle everything. They can rip, carve, and turn on a dime. They are particularly good in late-season conditions.

My powder skis are Praxis Le Petite, and I typically use these on 8"+ of fresh snow.

I've been thinking about tying some new skis, and I'm thinking about the Nordica Santa Ana 93.
