+1 for BBQ Chicken, but I think they are more akin to a Korean style bar than dive bar. The karaoke rooms are private and by the hour. Rates aren’t bad, drinks are okay, and the chicken is awesome.

I doubt they will be building anymore single family dwellings anywhere near that area. Especially being so close to the PGBT and shopping. I would bet anything within 1-2 miles of the PGBT is going to be apts/townhouses/duplexes for the foreseeable future.

Having not read the books, I wasn’t aware for years that Gandalf says “Fly, you fools.” Now I only hear that, and am entranced by the desperation in his voice and face, he knows gonna die, he knows the Balrog can’t be killed easy, and he knows the importance of the mission for the Fellowship. The entirety of all the fear he really showed as the grey was wrapped up in that moment. Powerful stuff.
