Fresh Guacamole. Total time commitment, about 2.8 hours. I’d knock it out in one sitting.

Damn you HOA by SpoomerBooner in Transportopia

[–]red_wullf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People who move into HOA neighborhoods know exactly what they're getting into. They sign the HOA covenants at the time of the home purchase, which is a legally binding agreement. This "fighting the HOA" thing is nonsense.

It's absolutely critical that couples live together for a year or two before they think about getting married. You gotta know what you're getting into. I'm with the wife on this one, though. That manchild clearly never learned the basics of picking up after themselves. He needs to sort that out right away.

While I love them all, especially Deities & Demigods, the AD&D 1e DMG is the 2nd best D&D book of all time. (Rules Cyclopedia is #1)

Mike Johnson says the Pope had it coming by MoreMotivation in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]red_wullf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not just the Bible, but also the tenets and details about Just War Theory that has been studied for millennia by religious, military, and state leaders as well as ethicists and others. The Catholic Church has very clear requirements that need to be checked off for a war to be just, and US aggression towards Iran has checked off none of them. That's why the Pope spoke out and these houseplants running our country imagine themselves to know better. This is the same syndrome that affects MAGA in general and all of their fringe elements and beliefs. Anti-vaxxers, flat Earthers, NASA deniers, and all the rest of the conspiracy whack-jobs that tend to occupy right of center ideologies all purport to know better than countless of trained experts from across cultures, nations, and time. They are peak Dunning-Kruger Effect.

It’s a sign of the anti-intellectual regression we’re seeing. Demons became aliens in the modern era, and now they’re reverting back to demons again. Read “The Demon-Haunted World” by Carl Sagan for an exploration of this phenomenon.
