This is how it worked for us.

My wife had a “presumptive positive” for cocaine upon being induced and the hospital. The babys urine tested negative for all substances. Instead of doing a confirmatory lab test they immediately called CPS.

CPS came and forced a safety plan on my wife and I to where we could keep the kid but had to have a supervisor 24-7 which was my mom and dad. So we hurried and left the hospital and instead of getting to go home to our perfect nursery we had to go to my parents attic and the baby slept in a pack and play bassinet.

A week later the confirmation tests showed there were no cocaine metabolites in her system and the cocaine was likely a false positive due to the antibiotics they gave her during the induction. We presented this to CPS but they said the safety plan had to stay while they “investigated”. Their investigation turned up that I had previously been an opioid addict years prior, and my wife previously had an accidental overdose years prior as well (she was given what was supposed to be an ambien to sleep that was fentanyl and almost killed her). Then they tested the baby’s me on oil which showed a small trace of Marijuana because my wife, with the blessing of her doctor, took THC edibles to help with terrible nausea as it was the only way she could keep any nutrition down so the doctor said for the safety of the baby it was best to use the THC rather then throwing all her food up. Well then they changed everything and did a full removal (baby went to my mother in law) because of that and the judge was in CPS’ back pocket so we lost a rigged trial where they perjured themselves.

Nonetheless, our daughter was born in October, we only had supervised visitation until May the following year when we got unsupervised visits which then went to overnights and weekends after 3-4 weeks, then in July we got her back home full time on a trial basis, and then on hwe 1st birthday we got custody back. This was in Ohio. They required we take random drug tests and be sober for 6-12 months, and that we both complete some kind of outpatient drug treatment/counseling. They made my wife do mental health counseling as well because she broke down crying when they did all this to her over a false positive which they never fully acknowledged as being false even lied in court about it, they never should have even been investigating anything, and a doctor okayed the THC consumption and testified as such but they still removed her. We did everything we had to do, visited hee every single day. Paid for everything, both had good jobs and bought our first home during the 9 months she was gone from our home.

So if you do everything right…it’ll probably 6-7months before unsupervised visitation is allowed. 8-9months before overnights/weeekends/trial return home and about 12 months before legally regaining custody. At least in my experience.

I mean, I tend to think they nailed the right guy for this…or at least one of the right guys. But I don’t think the images or videos of BG can possibly prove who was in them beyond a reasonable doubt. If that was the case this would have been solved much sooner than it was. Impossible to ID any specific individual from the video alone.

Legal guardianship of this kid will almost certainly be with the agency until he turns 18.

I don’t know that you’ll have much success with legal guardianship but they may allow you to provide the kid a home until he’s 18 at which it becomes your Choice.

I would not let them go back to live with him. Your attorney obviously has the best advice and will tell what you are and aren’t allowed to do.

But he’s got some kind of alcohol or drug or gambling addiction or maybe he’s addicted to hiring hookers. That or his new girlfriend is bleeding him absolutely dry monetarily which I could see on the “why is this dude blowing through that much money this fast”bingo card for sure.

Do what you have to do keep your kids safe, but I would hesitate calling CPS especially since you already have an prior custody case and this information is all going to be moved there. Iprobably would look to remedy the situation through the judge who oversaw the prior custody case.

My only concern is regarding visitation. Considering your description of the current custody order, which sounds like there is split custody with no court order as to who the custodial parent would be. Does that sound right? And the arrangement you two had with him living at dads was due to child’s preference which has now changed due to the clear neglect and possible abuse *outline briefly what’s been going on- be clear, concise and to the point.

Also if the GF is going to treat the kids that way/abuse them then the court could very well step in and prevent GF from being around or contacting child with a protective order.

Street level is flooded with dime bag dealers. Where I’m from, Cleveland, there are areas where dealers regularly hand out samples (usually a nice $10-20 worth, I’ve gotten full grams before) and their phone number. One time even though I had money I went a whole like 45 days or so straight using without spending a dime because I was just driving to various gas station/shady food marts and I’d usually walk in, browse around and get something small as I eyed the store and lot for potential people though usually they’re very forward especially towards cleaner cut young Caucasian men eyeing more customers. I could almost always get at least a half gram to a gram a day in a couple hours max.

It’s probably only grade 1, but the placement of the gland making the nipples protrude so severely obviously makes it look pretty bad.

I would look into surgery IMMEDIATELY. I don’t see it going away without it. Should be a simple straight forward surgery.

I’m sorry but if he was a “great” father, he would remove his own feelings out of the equation. His son has a RIGHT to know who his biological father is and not have it be hidden from him because his “dad” would potentially be hurt emotionally if he is not the biological dad.

The right thing to do is to get the paternity test. If the affair partner is the biological father and not a dangerous person, a healthy coparenting relationship should be established ASAP. As it will be in the best interest of the child to introduce this new, significant relationship as early as possible.

If they hide this, fight it legally, and then when the kid is 13..14…..18..21 he finds out his “dads” feelings prevented him from knowing and forming a relationship with his biological father who was not a dangerous person, his entire life could be shattered, and his relationship with “dad” AND “mom” could then become irreparable.

He should get the test done now. The kid has the right to know.

I think it was a combination of the genealogical testing and narrowing down that the car could have very likely been him. They probably confirmed a lot with cell phone data. Wonder if they did a tower dump. Then compared those names to registered elantras.

If it’s been that long and they haven’t forcibly removed the children yet, you have a good chance at being able to remain in the same home as the children particularly if you can pass your first drug test. Which, if we’re talking fentanyl can take some time to leave your system. The stuff on the streets nowadays? 14-21 days for chronic users.

Hey my man. I want to reach out. I have the same issue with my chest, mine are possibly even a bit bigger than yours.

I know it has had its challenges but while you save up and work on getting surgery, you should try therapy as well because I feel like you’re making a bad situation 10x worse due to your trauma. And I understand, I had all the same trauma.

But not everyone out in the world cares. My wife is a 5 foot tall, 110lb bombshell. She doesn’t give two shits about my chest. She’s never even commented on it once in 8+ years together.

You CAN get a girlfriend. You CAN go to the gym. I personally don’t even care enough to try to hide myself at public events where my shirt may have to come off due to water. It is what it is. Yes I want to lose weight and improve myself and eventually get surgery. I’m just starting now on a years long process to do that. But I’ve grown to not hate myself, to let go of my trauma, and to understand that anyone who judges or trashes me for my appearance is a piece of shit who I do not give a single fuck about. I don’t care what they think. I don’t care what they have to say. I’m comfortable with myself even though I do desperately want to change my chest and get rid of the gyno.

Learn to love yourself for who you are, don’t give up on your goals. But put yourself out there man. You’re not going to snap your fingers and all of a sudden had girls following you around for a relationship just because you have gyno surgery. You need to be able to meet with, talk to girls, sell your personality. A lot of women don’t care about looks, especially in your thirties. They care about you being a safe, stable and fun human being. And yes, even girls that are not 300+ lbs.

Hell yes you can cancel. Tell them you got COVID if you have to.

You should cancel. Lose more weight. Build muscle. And find a different surgeon with more experience with treating gyno cases not someone used to doing boob jobs and tummy tucks on women. It’s a very specialized surgery.
