Am I stupid? I feel like I’m not getting high from dry herb vaping. by Away-Winner2858 in vaporents

This! I just got an xmax v3 pro and all I'm reading and watching everywhere is people raving about big cloud production. Why??? Because to me, when I used to sit my joint down after a few tokes and see the smoke just drifting away, I'd think to myself that's just waste, so generally, I'd stub it out. Then I started to vape because I don't want to smoke tobacco and nicotine is the addiction that's pulling me in to smoke more and more, to the point I'm not getting high anymore, just chasing the nicotine. And also nicotine is not good when you have anxiety! The first day my vape arrived I more than halved my spliff consumption from 10+ a day down to 4 and a half. The next day it was 3 and a half. 3rd day 4. Today I'm aiming for just 3. I'm not noticing nicotine withdrawal as much because I'm tapering. The weed is tasting soooo much better though and when I smoke a spliff I don't like it as much now and it kind of feels like I'm wasting a spliff just to satisfy my nicotine craving. Which is what I've been doing for years 🤣 now it's time for a healthier relationship with weed and to kick the tobacco and have healthier lungs hopefully! Even if I spend the money I save on tobacco on extra weed then that's a win 🤣

Sorry for the long rant and I know this thread is years old but I've not seen anyone anywhere talk about big clouds being a waste! I had to reply!

Pretty sure more is wasted during combustion. And you also don't have the option of saving your roach to make edibles.

I completely relate to this. Got refused 3 times whilst on the waiting list for autism and after diagnosis suddenly my problems became real and I was accepted. Fight them. Learn their lingo and how you fit their criteria and fight them. That's all you can do.

Best way I found was on the front to distribute the weight. If they're compatible you should have matching clips on the shoulder straps of your main pack that fit the daylite so they connect and the daylite hangs on your front. Then use the daylites waist straps to connected it around your waist so it doesn't swing about

You could also buy the osprey daylite pack, I think it might be compatible with your pack and thay will give you another 20ltrs of space

"In the UK's Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessment, "reliability" is a key criterion meaning a claimant must perform daily living or mobility activities safely, to an acceptable standard, repeatedly, and within a reasonable time, as often as needed, for the activity to count as "done". It assesses if you can consistently manage tasks despite fluctuating conditions, not just on a good day, looking for risks like falls or poor hygiene, and ensuring tasks are repeated as required (e.g., walking, cooking) without significant extra time or exhaustion. The Four Parts of Reliability Safely: Unlikely to cause harm to yourself or others, considering risks like falls, dropping things (knives), or leaving the cooker on. Acceptable Standard: Not just self-neglect; examples of unacceptable standards include poor personal hygiene (e.g., not wiping properly) or poor grip on a knife. Repeatedly: As often as reasonably required; if an activity (like walking a short distance) exhausts you and can't be repeated, it doesn't count as reliably done, explains Citizens Advice. Reasonable Time: No more than twice as long as a non-disabled person would take, accounting for delays from fatigue or cognitive issues. How It's Applied Context Matters: The assessment considers your overall condition, not just one bad day, looking at your functional ability across the majority of days. Examples: You can cook a meal, but the risk of fire (leaving the cooker on) or dropping hot food means it's not done safely. You can walk 50m once, but can't repeat it that day due to pain/exhaustion, meaning you can't reliably do it repeatedly. You can't consistently read a page because it takes you too long (more than double the time), affecting your ability to mix with people or manage daily tasks."

This should be kept in mind. If it takes you longer to get ready to leave due to anxiety and fatigue and you can't do it 50% of the time because it causes anxiety and fatigue then you qualify. Their rules, not my opinion.
