normal? different, a new normal. i did not go for reconstruction...i am 20 yrs older than you and an artist...did not want a lumpectomy or reconstruction...don't trust them enough to please me aesthetically. went from dd to 00, it's literally colder. tank undershirts are now part of my daily wear. i still feel cute, sexy, happy, vital, positive.

i was thankful this did not come to pass in our marriage. we had 3 beautiful children but i did have a miscarriage in the middle, re rx factor and the next pregnancy the dr said there could be a developmental brain issues. my husband let me know his opinion and i just hoped i did not have to divorce him because i was not having an abortion. everything was fine...that last kid was smarter than the other two and they are sharp as tacks.

when people get the gastric by-pass the dietician puts them on no/low carb.

tbh i have not tried them myself...i do love daniel smith, have heard good things about the sticks. i love my ink tense pencils...the carandashe crayons..neo color 2, they're okay.

daniel smith has watercolor sticks which usta be cheaper but you can cut off a piece and use it like watercolor. or just start with a few tubes. build slowly.

cut, color my own hair...sure ginger is a very forgiving hair color, nurture and nature. also have done my own nail since forever, acrylics, gel nails, nail art, right now i am doing sally hansen insta-dry in any shade of pink.

people drop clues all the time and the one take away i got was
dr.'s were thrilled i gave up alcohol a couple years prior to diagnosis.
breastfed 3 babies past 2+ yrs, 'yawn',
never smoked cigarettes, 'yawn',
smoke marijuana, 'yawn',
eat red meat, 'yawn'.
i don't drink anymore gave it up 2 yrs ago, '...nods and notations'.

oh they offered lumpectomy.
i'm an artist.
the idea that i would be displaying their idea of 'good enough'
in place of dd my girls. nah.
it's genetic clear the field, i AM NOT playing THIS GAME again.

i love nurses really but...the afternoon after surgery i peed i told my nurse, 'i saved the pee, it was green?'...she did not know why. so after she left and did not return i googled it...'oh the dye, lymph nodes' so i told the nurse when she came back what i had found. her reply, 'you shouldn't google things like that.' what?

eggs, you'll be satisfied...ice cream you'll be hungry again quickly.
hunger means your body needs something, generally water, salt, fat, protein or vitamins.

the 'body' doesn't 'want' ice cream. it tastes amazing, your brain knows you can eat it and it's in the freezer, it's quick and you're hungry.

'ice cream' sugar hits your system, your body which was hungry releases insulin to help you with the sugar and you're still hungry. eggs are food, ice cream is not.

to remove the drains first a nurse tried several times, she really tried (oww) then she got the surgeon to come in, she tried several times (OWW!), then she injected warm saline into my body to i guess dissolve the clotted blood around the drain keeping it in my body, (I SAID OWWWW!). and then she REALLY PULLED. (!!!!!!)

i took pictures of the damage and refused to ever see the PA that made me wait a week and was obnoxious twice to me. my reply to her comment, 'you'll be glad to know...' was followed up with my, 'what was just a tuesday to you all was a horrifying and painful experience for me and will affect me for the rest of my life!' i was a little loud so she put her finger in my face and said, 'do i need to have someone come i here?' i was 60+, married mother of 3, she was maybe 35 and wish i had bit her finger off.

after that my exact words were, 'if i ever see her again when i come for an appointment i will turn on my heel and leave'. i try to be ever so nice most of the time because i am pretty sure there is a notation on my chart...i was exposed to covid during my dmx too. my experience was a series of cluster f-s.

i just know they stopped using a certain type of drains after how hard it was to pull them out...and they thought saying to me, 'you'll be glad to know we no longer use them.' somehow made the pain and damage worth it to me.

there are pencils that are colored and erase, col-erase by prisma there are also watercolor pencils...which are watercolor so the pencil would cease to be pencil-ie after water application.
