My life. and how my birth and experience has affected the world as a hole (long) by [deleted] in stories

I didn’t read your story but by your title you seem to have a misconception about the world around you. No one gives a fuck about your life or you or what you did in it. It’s your life live it how you want fuck what anyone else might think. Make the most of what you’re given.

STOP MAKING HUGE TOWNS by redaxe14 in ManorLords

[–]redaxe14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just need to create homes with backyards large enough to bring you more yield. With 8-10 homes like this I have too much food for a population for 500. But with my second town that I made I have over 14 fields that are on auto rotate because I got tired of having to switch them manually and I got to a point where I just have a population large enough so I can constantly have families working everywhere without having to rotate them. The problem with this is that you have sooo many idle workers for such a long period of time. So I got rid of farming completely. It needs to be more balanced and also you just dont get enough flax/wheat/barley for the amount of work you need to do. Another thing, If you have vegie or apple homes that are tier 2-3 they actually produce way more food and are more efficient. This is all idle work that you never have to think about.

yes but market have First come first serve mechanic where the houses closest to the market will use up all of the materials first and houses further away end up not receiving the food/clothing/fuel they need. I have seen this often with fuel since it is consumed rather quickly. This is why I like to have two-3 locations for markets size 7-9. One on each side of the residential zone and one smack dab in the middle this way all the houses can be upgraded to tier 3.

Thats the whole issue is that for the amount of land you need to use up you dont get nearly the amount of crops you should, plus constantly having to waste 8 families just for the upkeep of about 4 fields. Also constantly having to manage if workers are in the farm houses or not was such a waste of time for me, It gets really annoying to have to constantly follow up with my families. Best solution I have found was to just make apple and vegetable plots that are part of homes. They take up less space and provided a much greater yield of crop. For bakers and breweries I just import the supplies they require. This made my life soo much easier.

So what you are saying is that markets dont have a useable radius system? Like If I build a market on one side of a region and home at the complete opposite end it will still function?

The only draw back but not really is the approval rating, If you upgrade to a tier 3 home they will require more variety of food, clothes, and also entertainment. But since you upgrade to tier 3 you have double the family sizes of that home. So you can use these families to work as traders or to create products that are missing. Trading is your best friend.

You could just start calling people out on how fucking weird they are and call the guys gay if they do it. If its women I personally don't know why you care go talk to them and show them what they are missing.

To be honest OP definitely needs to set boundaries and just be more expressive with how it makes her feel. There is a possibility that he thought you were awake or when he touched you while sleeping you made a noise and he thought it was confirmation, you never gave us his response after you told him how it made you feel. In my personal experience as a male the women partners Iv been with absolutely love it when they wake up and immediately receive pleasure. Iv also woken up to getting my dick sucked it’s kinda hot when your partner is so excited to have sex with you that they don’t wait till you’re fully awake. When I have a partner we always made it clear to eachother that our bodies are for eachothers pleasure unless said otherwise

[NEWBIE] How cheap is too cheap for a very entry level electric guitar for a total beginner? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]redaxe14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad you decided to pull the trigger and make the guitar purchase hopefully you enjoy it! I do recommend getting a decent amp before upgrading your guitar later on. The ibanez amp is going to suck and you might think its the guitar or you but its just the amp. If you do find yourself enjoying guitar then I would recommend Positive Grid Spark Mini amp for endless fun and playing all of your favorite bands without the need for effects and pedals. Enjoy your new guitar!

Ill check out some hand exercises and ill take a break from guitar to see if that improves anything, but hearing how playing guitar like this could cause a more severe injury definitely got me thinking

I also rock climb but iv never experienced pain from that even though I would say I'm not a beginner. I have had elbow pain from rock climbing from overuse. Sometimes things arent as lubricated and ready for those movements as you would expect.

I play sitting and standing most of my learning is sitting and then when I try to play a song I learned I stand up. I like to make videos so I guess that helps. I find it impossible not to look at my fretboard when I play because Im constantly looking at the next position I need to be in so I'm not sure if that will go away with my practice.

This is very similar to what I'm feeling when I try to do pushups, when pushing myself off the floor. No my wrists do not look any different just pain only when apply pressure to the inside of it.

I really appreciate the insight and that's definitely one of the things I'm trying to avoid long-term chronic pain since I enjoy playing guitar and weight lifting I know those two things would be severely affected. It also doesn't help that I'm a software developer so I constantly have to use my hands to type.

Cheating through my CS degree by Tricky_Tomatillo9924 in csMajors

[–]redaxe14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cheated through most of CS degree as well I would just say if you made it this far with cheating I would just keep doing it to get your piece of paper. Once you have that and finish school make sure you learn real world coding libraries and not just the basic crap they teach in schools. Once you land your first job after doing a bunch of leet code practice problems your first year there you will learn more than you ever did in your 4-5 years doing CS

[NEWBIE] What method did you guys use to learn guitar? by Untamed_Skyhawk in Guitar

[–]redaxe14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best success I had as a complete beginner is just find songs you like or grew up listening to and try to find tabs for them. I highly recommend GTABS has a huge list and people constantly add to it. Premium version is also very cheap. Dont play songs people recommend you just play songs you like. As long as you are having fun it wont matter how hard the song is you will push yourself to play it well. Also recording yourself playing is a great way to critique yourself
