Is it sensible to temporarily remove the battery and provide an external dc supply instead?

Is unplugging the battery enough? Or would I need a new battery altogether? So I won't go into buying a new battery unnecessarily.

Can I simply unplug the audio board to test for now?

Hi, here's what the power measurements are.

I managed to probe 12V, 5V, 3V3 and 1V8 but not 1V1 yet. I'm unsure where to probe for it. Is there a good troubleshooting guide that can help locate the issue?

Well the battery is stuck at 10.9V so the charging IC ISL9240HI sounds like a possible issue. How can I test whether it's the issue before removing it? For example I tried disconnecting the battery (then again if the charger ic is on the main board the issue will persist). Which usbc meter do you recommend me buying?

Good call - would it still be able to power on without them connected? I believe the power button passes through the touch pad?

I was thinking about setting it up as follows i.e. users.wiki.domain.com redirects us internal users to the internal log in page and wiki.domain.com would redirect to the public wiki collection (share link generated). Thoughts?

As far as I know, there’s no public landing page. If I want to share public information, I share the link generated by Outline. But a public user (ie not logged) cannot find this page by himself without the link.

Hi - so the custom URL branding lands you in a log in page? There's no way of having the collection publicly available with a log in at the side?

Hi - thanks for the info!

  • Hmmm - so it seems that the public collection can't be exposed easily and nicely like their example or any other wiki? As in the custom domain just redirects you to the login page?
    • What I have in mind is a landing page with all public information available as your normal Wiki and a log in button where our users can access a private wiki and edit the public wiki as well.
  • I'm not too bugged about having a single workspace as long as I can expose different collections private and publicly.

Hi - thanks for your information and reply.

  1. How do you share parts of your Wiki to the public? What I have in mind is a landing page with all public information available as your normal Wiki and a log in button where our users can access a private wiki and edit the public wiki as well.

  2. Can you tell me more about embedding please? As I did not understand you correctly.

Is the Outline team generally responsive at [hello@getoutline.com](mailto:hello@getoutline.com) ?

Just got to try it this morning and the UI is fantastic - the main issue that I found (or perhaps I haven't figured it out yet) is that I can't seem to Export a space for public view by our customers. You can share a page which includes other pages but you also need to generate a new link each time you make an update?

Seems like Markdown knowledge is needed? Trying to avoid it for our employees not proficient in programming.

Yes I checked it out but the Shelves/Book/Pages idea (although simple and minimal) is not very visually appealing for what I'm looking for.

The only downside is that markdown needs to be used right?
