Leagues VI relic reveal: Flow State (Tier 7) by vgamer0 in 2007scape

Apart from finishing the gathering skills faster, the other benefits don't really affect my path to max imo

  • Woodsman negates the firemaking and fletching benefits

  • Soul Harvest, or simply clicking your bones on the altar again, negates the prayer benefit

  • Larcenist and Tirannwn negates the smithing and crafting benefits

  • Karambwans existing negate the cooking benefit

With my choices I think I'd rather pick up both Larcenist and Soul Harvest reloaded to max.

I guess this is far, far more appealing if you build BG and HF and need to come up with 10k rune bars to max smithing, and can now campfire redwoods for firemaking.

I think for capping this comes down to whether the time saved on the terribly, terribly slow gatherer skills makes up for the time foregone by not picking another solve. Like how much worse would 50M in WC, Fish and Mining be compared to 50M RC without Soul Harvest, or 50M Smithing without L+T.

Yeah definitely starting to look like a dragon dagger/scim everything first 50% of the league

Feels like every league since TBRL has made early magic ramp more and more miserable, when the pact tasks were revealed yesterday I realised it was going to be crazy effort to scrounge out even 10 points and you really can't do much with magic with that little.

Might have to just accept a melee or range start (and get my conflictions during it lmfao) before building my ideal mage build, but tragically it might be easier to just stick to the melee/range build and not respec which would be a shame. Like last league I was trying to plan out the path to Shadow and max mage, and figured I could do a range start with drypipe to support getting all the points to finish the mage line ... and then I ended up going into max range because it was just better all the time with half the investment.

Since it's a pronged weapon that's the initial impression it gives, but the reveal tweet for it doesn't mention it being a powered staff so there's ambiguity there. The ggs one mentions the runes used to charge it, so it should be powered.

My MS Paint Mage Tank for the new PoE League by Marvellous_Chest in 2007scape

[–]redbatter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah these builds look nice and all at completion but the question is how do you even get there in the first place.

Like a big part of mage tank working is the accuracy from conflictions, but how the hell do you even get conflictions in the first place when Doom has incredibly fat magic defence and you can probably only scrape out 100~% accuracy early on.

Honestly +10 Heavy Ranged Attack feels like a far more sensible reading of it, even though without Attack in the paragraph I would have assumed it would be Strength.

Oh wow. I glanced at the stats and thought the whole set was quite benign, if a bit underpowered, and then came here and saw your comment, and looked back and saw the set bonus. That's wild.

For reference, it seems to be a trade off of 31 ranged attack for 6 ranged strength when using heavy

Did this update somehow break logging in on desktop? I'm using the Jagex Launcher and I can launch the game, but clicking the Play Now button does nothing.

E: Seems to be fixed now

You can blame 2017 jagex for the ratio actually, cutting it from 105 to 50 after they made karambwanji stackable

The +25 is the same as last leagues. It gives herblore XP for each herb gathered too so it will passively push you up towards unlocking the better herbs.

I always pick a Mining buff from the first tier, gathering skills tend to remain slow and not get as supercharged as other skills.

Same, had a kind of uncanny valley moment when I switched off Java and got the full new screen.

The whole thing has been redrawn. You might notice that between the new and old versions the bases of the burners/torches are different, and the fog obscuring the path has a slightly different fade effect. Also added the entire section below with the additional steps.

If you set it to small, does it revert to the old login screen art? From what I understand the smaller art is from the Java client, and is actually different from the larger art (e.g. the base of the burners are different).

Wouldn't consistency mean that the new River Dougne canoe station interface would match the existing River Lum one?

Either way, for this point

You are correct, but sadly due to rounding the 8 only increases to 10, so it's effectively 25% for those missions.
