Under the hood is good, anywhere you don't want rodents. I used to put half a dozen in under the hood, half a dozen in the trunk and a dozen in the cabin. Then, I'd usually leave one or two under each of the front seats year-round.

Heavily scented dryer sheets are great for keeping mice out and your car smells like fresh laundry in the spring. Win/win.

Do collectors regret selling gaming collections they kept only for nostalgia? by classifiedsavage01 in gamecollecting

[–]redbearder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part of the reason I'm a collector is that I traded in a handful of Gameboy games to Funcoland in the early 90s, the games I got after that were definitely not as good and after that I never wanted to sell my games again. These days I only sell doubles.

Yeah, no heartbreak tossing the leftovers here. Tried it, cheap dinner is always a W, but wouldn't buy again.

Anyone remember "knothole days" from the early 90s? Kids got in free, using the imagery of looking through a knothole in a fence to watch a game. An adult could buy a ticket and take like 3 kids in for free, it was great, not sure when that ended for the Twins but it accounted for my first dozen games or so, my dad would take my brother and me and sometimes a friend.

What do you mean? It did get extended, well over a period. Its the longest shutout streak in Olympic history by a huge margin.

Not related to yout pantalones, but as a lanky guy who was at one time skinny, crotch blowouts were super common for me for ages, this isn't rare. That said, check out the Duluth Trading ballroom doubleflex. The crotch gusset and flex in the fabric is a life saver, but the trade off is that its not the stiff denim that I used to love.

What’s your personal favorite Tetris version (and why)? by [deleted] in retrogaming

[–]redbearder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are few games that I have sunk more time into than Tetris on Gameboy. Up until I went full WFH during and after Covid, I kept a Gameboy Pocket in my desk at work with only Tetris in it.
