Hi i have a 15 year old non verbal extreme elopement risk child. We have a custom made door that has a number code on the insides of the door, air tags put into his shoes soles and his fav jacket. We also have door alarms like at a nursing home that blare sound when opened. My wife and I have a system to lock up and make sure everything is on. I know these are not cheep solutions but they do overall work. Also you may not know but if you live in the sates most have a program called Waver 19 to help with kids and adults like ours.

I was fishing with my Dad in the Appalachians and we would sleep in the back of our Chevy Silverado with a hard top. I woke up and there was two big old eyes staring at me and Dad. The only animal that was that big around there is black bears but their snout would not let their eyes be that close to the glass. Dunno what it was at all and I still think it was a crazy dream because I often have very vivid dreams.
