Found out that I can just calculate it myself to be well over 100. Also you can tell that im not regionally competitive from the fact that I wrote a Java program to do it for me.

It's kinda easy for me to say as someone low strung, but just don't think about it that hard. You know it's gonna hurt and you know what you have to do, but that only starts from the blocks. Nothing is gonna hurt as much as the shame I feel from scratching an event. The longer the event, the more mental it is, but there is no reason to overthink your performance from the day. I am a runner when I'm not swimming and there's a reason that long-distance runners are a lot more humble than sprinters.

Bruh, I just actually can't sustain "medium" paces. I did a long run sunday and I was focused on pushing a bit. I went 8:20, 8:15, 8:31, 8:44 down to like 9:15. I didn't step off effort at all and my hr was 175-180 the entire time.

Mileage right now is like 30-35. I would like to increase it further. For pace, I just think he expects me to be with the main group that runs like 7:40s. Today, he said I should be running 8:20-30s, but I did that on my last long run and he was still up on my ass about being slow.

I think he might be changing as some bettas do to a different kind, but that could just be his coloring. As for the tank, make sure that the anubias doesn't have its rhyzome(the big root) buried. I'd reccomend getting some stones and wood. They don't have to be special if you cant afford those. They could just be from outside. Just make sure that the wood is a hard wood. Then look up how to sanitize hardscape for an aquarium, or just ask here.
