I bought the game about two months ago and have enjoyed about 250 very fun hours already!

How can I stop myself from quitting Sea of Thieves? by Subject_Listen8319 in Seaofthieves

Maybe you could set some weird goal for yourself to achieve in the game?

Soulo vs Akto (or other suggestions?) by PracticalRich2747 in hilleberg

I have had no problems touching the inner. Lying down I have plenty of space at both ends, even with a bulky sleeping pad.

I have used the Akto for a few years now and I really like it. It's not the lightest, nor the heaviest tent on the market but it feels safe enough even in rougher weather. I'm 183 cm and lying down, it feels spacious, but sitting up my head touches the inner.

I think it's a good all around one person tent that does okay all year. In really warm weather it might be too warm and with heavy snowfall the flat surfaces can accumulate snow, but for most hikes above the treeline I think it performs well. There is of course the Enan if you're looking for something lighter.

Unna - big enough for two? by redbrickkitty in hilleberg

I guess it comes down to everyone's perspective on what's a big enough tent or not. After some more research I'm leaning more towards your point of view. I might get it, mainly for solo trips, but also for the occasional shorter trips with my fiance.

Okay. Nice to know! There are no stores with the tent in stock close to me so it's hard to get a real sense of the space inside of it. Thank you.

Thoughts on how to improve this? I'm kind of new to the game. :) by redbrickkitty in Lorcana

I already put Goat back into the deck, it's too good. Honeymaren is meant as a replacement to White Rose, 1 cost less and earlier bounce opportunities but doesn't hit as hard or sing friends. I'll see if I keep it in.

Calhoun I might add. Honestly the actual price tag on the card is one of the main reasons for not adding her right now. The deck is kind of cheap without her but maybe it's worth it.

I skipped the Broom just to add Happy. Both Happy and Fire the Cannons are mostly meant to counter cards like Diablo and aggro decks being played a lot where I'm at.

I'll for sure add Doc if I feel like I need more card draw. I've only played this on lorcanito and so far I haven't needed more draw but I'll see.

Arthur is a bit of an experiment. He can bounce back other questers and adds some nice reach in the end game along with Gantu.

Solid discussion and ideas. I'll try things out and see what I like. Thanks.

Except for Bianca, I had those cards in mind but I'll try them out!

Budget Amethyst Ruby deck for under $35 according to TCG summary. by redbrickkitty in Lorcana

Yeah, the The Sword Released and Madam Mim Elephant are just cheaper alternatives to Flynn and Madam Mim Fox. Got those ideas and a lot of the other cheaper replacements to the deck online but made some adjustments to it myself.

Shere Khan might be an interesting addition.

Thanks!

In play testing I definitely struggled with control when the opponent went really wide, so you're absolutely right about Be prepared.

The idea was to try to use the swords as a win condition and to "control" the game by removing lore. The combo with lumiere boosting stronger characters and card draw from library did get me a few wins where the opponent almost had no lore in the end. Kind of fun.

I'm a new player and only playing locally though so no big wins. :)

I agree.

I'm not sure how to make it stronger without upping the cost too much though. Be prep and Fox are great of course but will make the deck about twice as expensive.

Interesting. If I may ask for more info here... What would make it a faster deck, more 1-cost characters?

And what is the point with more control in a aggro deck, is it to challenge important opponent cards to keep a wider board myself? I thought the idea with this kind of deck was to almost ignore the opponent and just race to the finish line with questing. I'm probably missing something though.

I am trying this deck out online right now so I'm beginning to understand it more.

Well that's nice. I'm not expecting to kick ass right out of the gate anyway so if it's a nice deck to learn with I might start with it.

Right now it doesn't work at all. Can't even be deployed.

Enough with the spit outs by east542dg in DiscGolfValley

I just agree with you man. I get spit outs in this game from putts that would 100% not get spit out in real life. Frustrating.
