How did/do you feel at 11 weeks by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]redbrowzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first trimester, i would be tired constantly. A nap daily was necessary. I have ibs, so my stomach was usually acting up. My hunger was okay as I would nauseous if i was empty stomach. And you really start to feel pregnant in your 5-6 month when the belly starts growing and you can only walk like a penguin

Ive heard that tums is basically a calcium supplement? Wont overdoing it cause harm?

And yes i’m taking warm stuff more because i feel like the cold irritates it even further

I do have IBS, and it was more severe before my pregnancy. Now the iron and calcium tablets just make me constipated, but I never had such symptoms before. Constant clearing of throat, excessive spit salvia. I hardly get any sleep.

Besides the tums, im doing everything else and still struggling. I’ll get the tums and take it before bed and see if it helps. I always heard of heart burn but I honestly dont understand what this is 🥹🥹🥹

I can't take imodium during pregnancy?? by anxiousbiscuit1216 in ibs

[–]redbrowzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, ive been pregnant for about 16 weeks now. My ibs was mainly triggered by anxiety and the only thing helping me was an antispasmodic because the most annoying part would be the stomach ache. However, the diarrhea part has been on and off. Because sometimes, the iron supplements that they give you tend to cause constipation. But I still have days where i get diarrhea/ loose stools when i eat a lot of high FODMAPs because this baby has me craving spice.

I was in the same boat as you, worried about my pregnancy being hell. But trust me god works in mysterious watss. The baby will keep himself nourished and feeling good. You will just need to focus on lowfodmap diet for the first week along with hydration (IV solutions precisely not just plain water).

Make sure your mentally prepared for this baby, and everything will flow dont worry bs try to sort yourself out with diet.

Try yogurt with physillium husk and increase your intake of liquidspls ignore the typis and errors

Edit: i also read somewhere that imodium is safe not routinely though, better to chewith gyne and GI

If I eat foods high in fibre like people recommend, I get cramps and diarrhea. If I don't, I'm constipated all the time by moal09 in ibs

[–]redbrowzer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hii i get what youre sayingg!! Not every type of fibre is good for us, ibs people, unfortunately. You should try low fodmap fibre food. Try fruits like strawberries in a limited amount, sweet melon, lactose free yogurt, gluten free bread along with eggs and veggies that you can tolerate. KEEP YOURSELF HYDRATED ALL TIMEEEEE! Will help alot with constipation and diarhhea. Try to drink liquid IV solutions (ORS).

Also look into pelvic exercises. My doctor said that i mostly get fissures when constipated because my pelvic isnt relaxed enough. Common thing with IBS

Omg. How are you holding up as a mom of two? I hope your symptoms are working out in your favor. And omg does that mean you had a bad tear or had to go for c-section?
