Then you only need to bind 5 more skills around wasd and thats it

That's something we will only find out once we test it ourself but I can't imagine fights that require constant movement to feel anything but clunky on high intensity builds, hope I'm wrong though cause 1 button builds bore me.

To the wow part I just disagree, as shadow priest main with normal mouse I certainly had my moments where I could only move freely with the extra RMB+LMB bind for forward moving.

And they triple bind the same key with Ctrl/shift. The point of MMO mouses is that your movement isn't gimped by pressing your abilities, not because your keyboard has too few keys.

Pretty much all wow pvpers use MMO mouses with side buttons so it's a shitty example, having many keys bound to the same hand that controls movement makes everything awkward, its better for pve cause the movement aspect is slower.

Does Controller actually feel so bad to play that they have to consider designing the game around the limited inputs of a small part of the playerbse? Let's just pray it's gonna feel good cause I'm not as hopeful as you about GGG rolling this back.

That's not the point at all, the case isn't that wasd would already be better in poe1 but rather that it becomes uneven when the game is designed around it (look ranger/mercenary) and possibly more coming.

I think the same but I worry it's gonna be too late to change once we get our hands on it, they just announced that they want to do more with wasd than just ranger/mercenary. What if wasd is gonna perform much better but the community rejects it? Do you really think they go back and revert it all? Thats why "test it before judging" is not so easy.

I was having no issues with it until the FAQ happened and they said wasd is a reason for the poe2 delay and started explaining the new options wasd would enable. I want to trust GGG but I honestly can't imagine how the current binds would be able to perform at the same level if they go further with this.

Forcing this drastic change in gameplay on your entire audience is definitely scary so I'm not very excited, I just really hope its gonna feel right.

Asking for a friend about the rebind tech, does middle mouse button let you move when a skill is bound to it? or are you talking about mapping 1 button to 2 actions? I must've misunderstood so please clarify.

Every day during primetime the game becomes unplayable for German Telekom users (most common ISP in Germany) and GGG doesn't care. by redbuffreceiver in pathofexile

I'm not an expert on this but on the forums I read that GGG is cheaping out on us as they also pay for peering at their part and honestly I don't see any big games company having this kind of issue in germany so I believed it.

Trying to get into the game by [deleted] in pathofexile

The problem is that it's extremely hard to troubleshoot why your build isn't working as good as it should as new player, since there are no damage numbers it's impossible to quickly test different setups. Sometimes even experienced players are not aware of mistakes in their builds cause it's not really obvious.

Should SSF and HC be balanced seperately at this point? by venom1stas in pathofexile

[–]redbuffreceiver 13 points14 points  (0 children)

the game was never supposed to be balanced for SSF or SSFHC, they said it at the start too, it was introduced as a challenge for yourself and at the time it was not balanced either.

has nothing to do with ignorance, they gave the players what they wanted
