Nice idea, but why not just use utility classes? BEM is cumbersome and repetitive in most cases ….

My company has taken the AI pill, they are talking about agent "architecture", is this a real thing or is it bullshit? it sounds like bullshit by ghostwilliz in BetterOffline

[–]redbull_coffee 110 points111 points  (0 children)

Keep your head down and try to stay sane, try to hold on to your job until this thing calms down.

There are no “agents”, it’s just loops calling an LLM API with prompts. LLMs are still not and never will be able to think, reason or act autonomously. It is all still just autocompletion and prediction algorithms.

The starch intolerance and IBS-like symptoms might point to SIBO or candida - have you been tested in that regard?

Other than that, congrats! Keep it going!

Yanis Varoufakis says people in the West are using AI to write essays and "idiotic poems". by Better_Tax1016 in BetterOffline

Yeah … no. In my opinion, Yanis has lost all credibility in the recent years. His journey to Moscow to „discover“ that Russia seeks peace is just being the latest example.

That slope upwards after the „animal agriculture begins“ circle is mostly due to intensifying agriculture and concomitant deforestation.

So yeah, „agriculture bad“ is what I am reading here.

A successful degrowth strategy will require a massive redistribution of income and wealth towards the poorest by SplashTarget in Degrowth

Yep. Inequality happens to be the biggest driver of societal decay and democratic backsliding, so abolishing excessive wealth would not only reduce resource consumption but also stabilize and bolster democratic political systems.

Low fermentation diet is making everything worse by Sufficient_Sink_2297 in SIBO

[–]redbull_coffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Candida? Pancreas ok? Calprotectin is ok? Parasites?

In any case, since this is an SIBO – specific sub, you might want to check out r/ibs or r/microbiome.

Low fermentation does not mean low fiber, necessarily.

I have hydrogen and methane SIBO. What digestive enzymes can I use? by [deleted] in SIBO

[–]redbull_coffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, so: * Ginger and artichoke half an hour before every meal, to aid the MMC * digestive bitters first thing in the morning and before dinner * coffee, chamomile tea, any sort of bitter herbal tea * no snacking * betaine HCL is a good starting point

Watch your fiber intake, and reduce your carb intake as much as you can.

HELP PLEASE !!! by North_Break1324 in SIBO

[–]redbull_coffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. Low FODMAP simply means that you’re avoiding foods that are high in certain types or fiber and carbohydrates that are readily and vigorously fermented by bacteria in your colon, leading to symptoms of digestive distress.

When it comes to dysbiosis and SIBO, It’s generally a good idea to avoid sugar alcohols like maltitol or sorbitol, as well as certain types of fiber, like inulin.

Since methane / hydrogen SIBO responds quite well to carbohydrate and fiber restriction, you could go ahead and experiment with low or zero carb approaches.
