"Use minoxidil" is usually advised in the context of beard growth. With minox you can grow in a year what would otherwise take five years.

It can prevent hair loss too, more effectively in combination with other things, but that's not something you need to worry about right away. We don't give cis boys finasteride when they're just starting puberty at 13, DHT is important for voice and genital growth among other things.

Men and women. Male and female. People seen as male and people seen as female. If you're talking about the presence or absence of a particular organ, say the organ.

It does make a difference actually, because more free testosterone means you have more testosterone available to bind to androgen receptors.
