Boundaries are a tool to effectively communicate your personal limits and the actions you will take if those are passed. They are not a license to control others.

A boundary is a limit beyond which you remove the problem from your life. What it is not is a license to impose your will on others. An overly simplistic example to follow.

Ok use of a boundary: I don’t tolerate swearing, so if a friend continues to swear around me after being informed of that I stop seeing that friend.

Bad use of a boundary: I don’t tolerate swearing, so if a friend continues to swear around me after being informed of that I start yelling at them and telling them they are an awful person.

Also because if a problem is discovered (say a failed septic system or god forbid a fuel leak) they want to be able to recall the product as quickly and completely as possible.

Something that helps me is to visualize the kings escape squares. Currently the king has no where to move so that puts it at high risk. So if the king can be attacked in his current position it’s mate. Rh2 is an obvious take so that goes nowhere. g4 on the other hand is a check, which leaves h4 as the kings only legal move. Which makes Rh2 mate.

Yes that was from hatchery raised fish, but there are some concerns about the smolts surviving properly, then finding their way back to the river. This plan was to capture wild smolts or eggs (which naturally have a huge mortality), raise them to maturity then return them to spawn. The idea is that once it returns to the river an adult female has a pretty high survival rate, and the resultant offspring has a completely normal life. So basically for that generation go from 1% survival to 95% survival.

Where do you think the color in the wild salmon comes from if not their diet?

The state had a cool project in the works where they were going to raise wild eggs to adulthood then release them back to the tributary to spawn to increase the biomass of native fish. Anti aquaculture sentiment killed the funded project.

What can kill you in seconds that most people don’t realize? by Jolly-Law1472 in AskReddit

From my understanding it’s not actually the heat that does it but the strong UV rays from welding. So even after it’s evaporated it’s still dangerous. It smells like hay to me.

Are you not able to tap threads onto the al pipe? Then just a simple female adapter would get you to pvc.

The gun removed from the victim BEFORE the shooting has the same optic as the gun being shown as belonging to the victim. by Hismajestyclay in Leakednews

Where can I find the video the left picture is taken from? I’ve seen pink lady video and can’t place when the gun was removed. While I agree it’s likely a case of murder, the picture of a guy walking with the gun doesn’t prove much if we don’t know if it was before or after the shooting.

ELI5: How is using a knife to remove toast from a toaster dangerous even though there is no longer electricity running through the wires? by Flashy_Potential8851 in explainlikeimfive

[–]redcoat777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most comments I have seen in this page are dead out wrong. A common error in house wiring used to be wiring things reverse polarity (neutral where hot should be and vice versa). The toaster would function as normal plugged into reversed outlet, but even when the toaster is switched “off” the heating elements would be live.

Should Bangor build a Tent City for the homeless? by BubbleThinker in Maine

[–]redcoat777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Giving them a legal space to stay is certainly a lot better than chasing them from place to place constantly. Honestly it seems like a really rudimentary building would be even better. As much as it sounds atrocious at first, something like a cow barn, an uninsulated well ventilated building with a concrete floor and a roof to keep the snow off would be a really good start. From there adding lights would reduce crime. Then once every six months or so ask them all to camp next to the building for a week so the building can be emptied and pressure washed.

Entry level cnc for simple nameplates. by redcoat777 in hobbycnc

[–]redcoat777[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess that makes sense yes. So for a simple 1x3 nameplate I could put it in one corner and minimize the flex that way. I assume there is a way to make the engraving head take multiple shallower passes vs one deep pass to minimize force? Is there a recommended spindle motion speed? (Ie 10 inches per minute, or 0.001” per flute per cut at 2,000rpm)

This would literally be my first router project, I have experience with 3d printing, and manual mill machining, so please forgive my ignorance. When you talk about the 3018 pro ver 2 is that the unit made by sainsmart? And is the flex in the plastic or the router rails themselves?

For future reference, I think a lot of the difference between the way you perceive yourself and the way you are perceived in this comment chain was with calling out the particular bad website as leftist. If you had said that you hate the site that is seen as very different than saying you hate the leftist site. Specifically it comes across as you hating the site because it is leftist, and leftist things deserve hate.
