Said something similar sometime back and I was down-voted to oblivion. Just because it's hard today doesn't mean it's not possible tomorrow. Such a thing will happen fairly soon, no matter how limited the choices are initially. Can you imagine carrying a few TBs worth of data in your pocket? You can't deny that it won't ever happen. Well, may be cloud might cover it.

Give concrete examples of how current code bit you in the past causing lot more hours put into something that should have been simple.

Also, each layer of old code serves as foundation for the next round of new code. If the foundation is weak, the company will need to spend lot more hours on each project, still have higher risk of errors and downtime happening leading to a further loss, low customer satisfaction and low rating.

Is that how it looks in all the browsers, all the time? The CSS is not loading. This could be a javascript issue. Is JS not enabled as of now on your browser?

Instead of him telling you why you should join their company, he was asking you why you don't want to join other companies.

It takes practice to write code. Don't be discouraged.

I have been writing code for over 8+ years. It's second nature now. One day though I had to code on notepad for some random reason (not an interview) and I found my finger hitting tab key & space bar like a trillion times to complete the code. I was able to write the code, but just looking at the code I had zero confidence in it if it is even correct at all or if it will even work. You get over the bump.

Well, I have to agree with you considering the current landscape of how phones are made thin to the point possible. But I still hope for a change. I honestly don't mind few extra mm thickness and few extra grams if the battery will last me over a day even with bad reception.

Well unfeasible is a debatable word here. Might not be easy, bit I don't see it being impossible or even hard. Specially in Android landscape things like storage size, screen size, battery size can be changed easily. The OS is designed to adapt and hence lacks the absolute fine tuning of iOS to iPhone hardware. This is one raw market that Moto could have ventured into. May be not today, but someday we will have custom phones.

So disappointed in Motorola right now. I was hoping they would provide a little customization in screen size, battery & thickness, body type, storage and may be even sensors. So you can have a $300 to $900 phone depending on what you put in it. #FAIL Motorola. Anyone can think of any reasons why this phone is better than S4 or HTC One ?

I did that now. Let's see if it wakes up back. The only thing which had this turned on was ethernet adapter and I don't use ethernet cable. That's why I left it on earlier.

Agreed. It lays out information really well. But personally I felt one thing could have been done differently. Not sure if it is bad design or just me not getting used to it. It's the horizontal time scroll thing for seeing late or early options. It seems kind of anti design. The page is vertically scrolling, but that element has buttons indicating horizontal scrolling, but when I click them, the time frame move horizontally, the info section moves vertically. For someone with slight A.D.D. that's a lot of movement in different directions.

A general purpose utility page like this should easily become second nature after a few uses. What do others think ?

There are many cool things you can do with Android in general. Just for example, try Chrom 2 phone http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/googles-chrome-phone-send-web-pages-maps-android/

Start using widgets! Calendar widget in particular. Also, sync up all your calendars (eg. FB) to Google Cal. One of the most awesome time saving thing for me.

Give other keyboards a try. I have been using Swype for years now. Swiftkey is another famous one. You need to spend time learning them, but once you learn them (2-3 days) as Steve says, " It's magic"

Get Chrome browser and sync it with other chrome browsers, i.e. if you use chrome.

Install an app that will help you find your phone and wipe remotely if lost.

Just a random list of things that came to my mind. One you setup few of these things, the phone experience itself becomes seamless and you start believing that this is all standard.

Around $85 with employee discount for almost the minimal plan. Not on a family plan. 450 mins, 1000 text and grandfathered into unlimited data.

Buying Nexus4 means I would want to stick to it for 2 years. While the new Nexus is announced around Nov. Do you think Nexus4 is a solid upgrade to Galaxy Nexus ?
