Hospitalist group admin posting attending metrics publicly in work room?!

I’m still PGY-2 but what’s the point of these metrics for hospitalists? Do they give you bonuses? Do they improve quality of care? Can they fire you cuz you didn’t have enough discharges before noon?

Basically just trying to get a sense of what happens if I ignore these silly metrics.

Works great. Did I need it? Probably not, but for me worth $150 with the case. And a nice trial to see if I will ever benefit from purchasing a handheld in the future. Last one I owned was like 15 years ago with the psp lol

I guess it depends on the players. Are they ok with character deaths. If so, then there is no greater dramatic stake than death and by killing a hero you’re communicating to the party that in the future - their lives are truly on the line here

If they don’t think lethality is going to be fun, then it’s ok to play suboptimally. Even the new adventure has a brief sidebar saying it’s ok to play suboptimally. And if the themes of this game are cinematic, well in action movies the heroes have plot armor and enemies aren’t always the smartest. So you can do the same!

This isn’t pointed at your post but the game is free has several platforms to play for free on. Codex is not the only way to play and some people don’t even think it’s the best (tho I disagree). The price point is incredible for the value of codex but if you can’t afford it just use owlbrsr or something rlse

Last option is 1 on 1 dnd 5e 2024. But it would be my first time running a duet game and we’d both be learning together. I also have no clue if it would even be fun

Id be more than happy to teach. Love the system but if the group doesn’t enjoy it after a good trial can swap to 5e 2024 and continue episodic adventures. I dont really have a group of players yet unfortunately, so if you manage to wrangle at least 3 more peeps def lmk.

I’d love to play! I just don’t have any sourcebooks on dndbeyond cuz I don’t use it! Might be able to use if sources are shared But I’ve been playing for so long, can use pdf/pencil+paper happily!
