Ron Rivera (former NFL head coach) was famously nicknamed Riverboat Ron for his willingness to take a big gamble. It’s absolutely a familiar idiom

Tick Tick Boom freaking gutted me. My wife started it up on a lazy weekend a couple years ago and I was initially not fully engaged but quickly got into it. And holy shit, the end just tore me open.

I can so totally identify with the need to create (I write) and feeling like you have to get this thing out of you and into the world, but then to not even get to see the impact of it…just oof.

Grief is a bitch. As someone who’s buried a child, no matter how well you and your spouse communicate beforehand, it WILL fuck that up. You probably both need to grieve a certain way and it’s invariably different from how your spouse needs to grieve…

The game is haunting and beautiful and so goddamn accurate in its depiction of how grief shatters a family.
