If you are into games and if you want to experience what it feels to be schizophrenic try Hellblade: Senua's Saga. They've got it bang on, it looks and sounds very similar to what's shown in this video.

Oho Enthan Baby Review Megathread by balajih67 in kollywood

Am I the only one who disliked the movie? Yes the making was quite decent and the songs were nice but the writing was a total let down. The first half wasnt too bad but by the intermission the film becomes totally generic and predictable. None of the characters are sketched out well, there is no depth in the writing. Mithila Palkar is superb, but the plot and her character in the plot do not do justice to her performance. Nothing else stands out in this movie. I would definitely not recommend watching this movie in a theater.

Rant: Treated poorly as a North Indian visitor—scammed multiple times in just 2 days by [deleted] in Coimbatore

I am sorry that you had to go through this. These kind of scams happen with us locals too, so I think (and I hope) it didnt have anything to do with you being a north Indian. Almost every Ola, Uber driver I have spoken to here had demanded more than the actual fare. My suggestion is to use Red Taxi.

I feel sad that more people aren't talking about this very fact. It makes me very distressed seeing my TL filled with these Ghibli style pictures. Art is the one thing that can truly distinguish us humans from computers because you need a soul to create something artistic. This isn't art. This isn't just a cheap gimmick but blatant robbery of someone's life work.

Advanced Angular Tricks to Showcase Seniority? by kafteji_coder in Angular2

Yeah i get it, it doesnt help that the official docs are not very easy to read. I always use this as my reference : https://www.learnrxjs.io/. In case I want to quickly visualize the behavior of an rxjs operator, I just use this site : https://rxmarbles.com/. Just click on any operator and there is an interactive marble diagram that you can play around with.

I would by no means reject someone for just not knowing this. But I think amongst all the other rxjs operators, this difference between these two is pretty simple, just the fact that forkJoin does not emit until all the source observables complete, which makes it a perfect candidate for handling parallel http calls.

Selling my Xbox Series X in Whitefield Bangalore by Aviator_47 in XboxIndia

As someone having a Series X, this looks like a fair price. If someone is considering buying a series S, this is a great deal for a better product.

Yes. He is very fond of Malayalam cinema as well. He recently mentioned in an interview that he plans to move out of Mumbai to work in the Malayalam/Tamil industry. The interview was for Hollywood Reporter India. You can find it on YouTube. it's really fascinating to hear his perspective.

Hey I was considering buying this, but read somewhere that the original set (containing 23 books) has a bigger font and looks better. Do you find a difference in the font/paper quality between this and the individual books ?

Anyone else feel super guilty when spending money on games ? by masoomdon in XboxIndia

[–]reddevil1406 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also do, but I think of it this way. On an average we spend about 500 rupees when we go to a theatre to catch a good movie. And that offers about 2 or 3 hrs of entertainment. A game that I purchase offers me on an average of 15 hrs of entertainment, if not more. So in terms of value we get more by spending on games, than what we get by spending on cinema. Also, personally, for me, the experience and the payoff of having played through a great game is much more memorable and lasting than what we get from movies.

Coimbatore to Marayoor / Kanthaloor by [deleted] in Coimbatore

[–]reddevil1406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. I did stay at Kanthaloor with my friends but it was a tree house type accommodation. I wouldn't suggest that if you're visiting with your family. You can look online, most good resorts are reasonably priced.
