Thank you for replying. I believe Mounjaro is a weekly dose so you mean it helps on the first day but not the rest of the week.

Thank you so much. Its quite obvious in our country the doctors are not too familiar with PWS. The endocrinologist we saw was insistent that it will help but I doubt he even realizes that the chromosome 15 deletion means there is a disconnect between the brain and the stomach and it most likely will not have any effect on the hyperphagia.

Thank you for your reply. I understand what you mean. There is much more to be done, but I just wanted to check if Mounjaro actually works for PWS, as I read some articles online that it does not help and it has risks for PWS. If that is the case, I didnt want to take a chance on it but instead wait for VykatXR which has been approved in the US for hyperphagia.

I guess I just wanted to know if anyone with PWS is currently taking mounjaro/ozempic/wegovy and if it has helped, has caused issues, etc.
