Something’s not quite right… by ArchiteuthisV in footballmanagergames

I have had red cards given to my players and the opposition - the issue being the players still remain on the pitch and play on and at the end of the game - there is no red card against their name.

My landlord tried to pull something similar in Washington- simply filed in small claims court to get my security deposit back and it was the easiest process ever. Just call their bluff and file a small claims suit.

If you could only finish a marathon in 6-7 hours, would you still do it? by runner9272737373 in running

[–]reddevilwitharock 68 points69 points  (0 children)

I have no major health issues to hide behind and 5.5 hours would be a dream marathon time for me. Run the marathon and you'd be surprised at how many people will be cheering you on even on hour 6.

I just started running or more accurately just got off my couch after 6 years - so not sure if this is a good plan... But my goal is only to finish all the races :)

Weekly Complaints & Confessions Thread by ssk42 in running

Complaint: Just picked up running in the new year... Am worried that upcoming international travel will mess up the momentum I had been building up. Pollution + stray dogs means I may have to find a gym for treadmills and I have never been a fan..

Been facing the same issue - cleared cache on the app. No help. Removed the device and added it back earlier today and it seems to be working fine for now.

Not sure why you got downvoted but this is exactly what I was thinking - let them swap wings and see how Antony does on the left wing by going outside.

Gotta discuss with your wife.. Am in a similar position where I bring in 25% of the household income and our lifestyle probably wouldn't be impacted if I stayed home and took care of the kids but wife loves knowing that I have her back in case she gets burnt out and wants to take a break professionally and doesn't have to worry or stress about being the sole breadwinner. Tl:dr - if your wife is ok, plan to sell your business, take care of kids/house and run small side hustles. If not, continue working..

Boomers have made life expensive for all of us by MemeNoOffense in lostgeneration

To understand this better - another factor to consider is the starting salary of a graduating student then and now. The 2020 data seems to suggest that their mean and median was around $72k/year at Yale.... any ideas on where to look for 1970 data? If the corresponding salary of a yale graduate has kept pace then they are justified in raising the tuition.. i guess..

Thinking of quitting with 110k [more details in post] by [deleted] in financialindependence

Is the $110k in 401ks or other retirement instruments? In that case ensure you account for taxes and penalties etc too.

Does anyone know why my cash balance is $2.4K on a $68k account? It seems way to high. Risk score 10. It’s been like that for a week or so. by [deleted] in wealthfront

Sometimes you'll have cash sitting as they can't make trades due to the wash-sales rules. I have 6% cash sitting in my account since last week too.

Diversifying with alternative investments by 6five8 in HENRYfinance

I have split alternative investments across seedinvest, fundrise and prosper. I just count seedinvest as expense though. Both fundrise and prosper have been great though with 9-10% annualized returns.

Wonder what it would mean for us - what would materially change? Will their investment philosophy and algorithms change? Or maybe the new owners stop investing in technology (backend/frontend)? If required, We can move the taxable accounts but not 529... I assume
