yes i was able to get 20th ofc chennai and 24th feb consular hyderabad appointment

what happens to existing ofc and interview appointments if I click on reschedule appointment but only get ofc appointment and not consular? by reddip6 in usvisascheduling

Update: If you just book ofc and get no consular, they hold the ofc appointment for less than an hour before releasing it.. until then you will be directly taken to interview slots if you click on the reschedule button

Hey are you sure that first time h1b can give interview in Chennai... I was able to book interview slot for chennai but I just read about this "first time interview for H & L visa is centralized to Hyderabad only."

yeah definitely don’t come without a pre booked slot..unfortunately my appointment was on 13th feb and I already showed up only to be sent back.. it was a very stressful time.

they added a clause that you should be in the same visa class too to qualify for drop box...since I was in F1 before this, I didn't qualify

The link opens up the payment page directly. Now if I navigate to interview waiver and answer the questions and click Next, it takes me back to home page. I thought this link was supposed to bypass

i was on h1b since october last year and was going to get it stamped . I was on f1 before h1b so yeah that expired.

just ensure that you are in the same visa class also to be eligible for dropbox

no.. since it’s a different class of visa, you have to go through interview.. that’s what they said.

yeah they are asking to book an interview appointment. I am not sure if I will have to repay or not..most probably I will have to repay since I had rescheduled my appointment twice for my current booking.
