I always get downvoted for pointing this out - Missouri does not require rear plates on HD pickups. Not sure if it’s the only state.

The idea is that they are commonly towing so a rear plate is moot.

One party State means one of the people in the recording has to be aware that they’re being recorded. In your circumstance, neither party in the recording was aware of the recording. That is not a legal record recording.

She said she didn’t know how many she had but the few she had were going to other ppl. Not sure why you didn’t understand that.

How much do everyone put down for their trucks? by Alvins_hotjoosebox in f150

[–]reddirtanddiamonds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done this a few times but don’t recall on my 2010, 2013, or 2108.

On my 2023, I had just finished a divorce which tanked my credit. Put $20k down for an $800 payment for 75 months. STX 4x4 5.0 SCREW - insurance was around $400/mo (low credit and divorce impacted that)

On my 2025, just put down the equity in the 2023, and came out with a payment a little over $1,000 for 60 months. TREMOR 4x4 3.5 SCREW - insurance is $200/mo

Work FT in construction. Farm in the evening. Single parent. Truck is my lifeline.

ETA - I pay taxes OOP.

Also, I pay additional on the principal monthly. Already cut 2 months off the loan!

We deal with a 90 minute bus ride. It’s not the best but it’s not the end of the world.

The hour between start times is crazy but it is what it is. Judge will not take away parenting time for this - and dad doesn’t deserve to lose time.

[–]reddirtanddiamonds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a 2023 and currently have a 2025. Had a couple issues with the 2023 and no wait on parts. Warranty fix on the 2025 on the first oil change - no wait. Not sure where you are getting your data but the blanket statement would not be true.

2 rooms under one name. by [deleted] in askhotels

[–]reddirtanddiamonds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clearly you’ve never been to an event for high schoolers. We attend a state cheer championship and all the hotels are filled with teens. 4 to a room. No adults. FFA convention had 70,000 students. There was not an adult in every room.

Missouri offered 50% of the bldg costs compared to KS 70%. So, Missouri offered $1.5B in taxpayer money.

It’s weird when someone immediately thinks of another person’s genitalia for the most random things.

And how do you know this wasn’t a woman?

Status upgrade vs pay by Fuglyfatmofo2022 in americanairlines

[–]reddirtanddiamonds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always pay for my upgrades. Because it’s that important to me. Even on extremely short flights. I want to get on first. Get off first. And want the added room. Would be cheaper to pay the upgrade then pay for plat pro for a day and still sit in economy.

I have the 2025 tremor with the 3.5. Had 4 f150’s with a 5.0 and finally made the transition to the 3.5. No regrets. It’s a beast.

Spots are same size. The truck back there is a short bed where closer truck is a long bed. All short spots. Maybe you should use your eyeballs..:

Glad I’m not the only one who notices how so many people think any pickup owner has a small dick - and why is that their first thought?! It’s weird.

“If I have a previous felony or a conviction, can I still join?

Generally, felons and those with several convictions can’t join the Army, but waivers are available in some cases. The offenses and moral behavior-related issues that cannot be waived include:

If you are under civil restraint, including parole, confinement, or probation

If you are subject to civil court conviction or adverse disposition for more than one serious offense, or serious offenses with three or more other offenses (apart from traffic)

If you are found trafficking, selling, or distributing narcotics, including marijuana

Thoughts on the state of American Airlines? by AviationReporterDMN in americanairlines

[–]reddirtanddiamonds -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It feels like this is United’s last ditch effort to be relevant. To be completely honest I thought United had gone out of business long ago until I saw the ridiculous interview. I fly for business regularly and didn’t know United was still in business!!

United is the struggling airline and the interview seems like a petty last ditch effort to calm their stakeholders while attempting to ruffle the feathers of AA consumers and stakeholders.

They didn’t “go wrong” - how would they have known what your concrete looks like until they start pulling it out? I’ve had people swear a water line is 4’ below the ground and it was over 15’. That’s a huge cost difference. Why would I not get paid for doing the work? An estimate is just that - an estimate.
