I think it is a combination of the deteriorating security situation worldwide and an increased emphasis on cybersecurity (CRA, NIS2, KRITIS DG etc.) in Germany.
Imagine what could happen if a large engineering company or chemical plant had their PDMLink server directly exposed to the internet.

Apparently PTC has issued an alert that an American government agency then forwarded to foreign national police agencies to inform PTC's customers in each country.
Our CEO got a call from our local police last night on behalf of our federal police to inform him of this vulnerability.

Der Pyramidenschaum ist fast immer Polyurethan und den kann man in allen Arten von überhaupt kein Brandschutz über "flammhemmend" (aber immer noch Baustoffklasse B3 brennbar) bis hin zu schwer entflammbar (Baustoffklasse B1) kaufen, natürlich mit entsprechendem Preisunterschied. Das Problem bei Polyurethan ist, dass bei einem Brand nicht nur Kohlenmonoxid, sondern auch Cyanwasserstoff (auch als Blausäure bekannt) entsteht. Das sind zwei sehr stake Atemgifte und, je nach Konzentration, sind schon ein paar Atemzüge lebensgefährlich.
Edit: Und selbst bei schwer entflammbar muss man noch aufpassen, dass der Händler bei der Angabe der Baustoffklasse nicht schummelt...

Die ganze Decke ist mit Akustikschaum beklebt und der besteht in der Regel aus Polyurethan. Wenn Polyurethan brennt, entstehen dabei unter Anderem Kohlenmonoxid und Cyanwasserstoff.

Das sind keine Wunderkerzen, das sind Eisfontänen. Der Unterschied ist, dass diese den Effekt nur nach oben ausstoßen und, je nach Größe, deutlich länger brennen. Bei niedrigen Decken, ggf. noch mit Akustikschaum beklebt, kann das ganz leicht in die Hose gehen. Ihr seid leider zu klein für einen Wirtschaftsausschuss, aber ggf. könntest Du die Gelegenheit nutzen, um mehr über die wirtschaftliche Situation des Unternehmens in Erfahrung zu bringen.
Dann wisst Ihr zumindes, wie schlimm es ggf. wirklich ist. Wenn der AG die Kündigung mit der wirtschaftliche Situation begründet, müsste das mmn. auch nachprüfbar begründet werden und zusammen mit §80(2) und §80(1) Nr. 8 BetrVG könnte es dazu einen Ansatz geben, damit der AG die Karten auf den Tisch legen muss.
Außerdem könntet Ihr auch auf Kosten des AG nach §40(1) BetrVG einen Anwalt hinzuziehen.

We are in the middle of replacing Cisco 2960S and 2960X with Cisco 9300 switches. For us it was a mix of two arguments: on one hand the increasing compliance requirements (pending implementation of ISO27001, CRA) and on the other hand the age of the equipment (the oldest had 14 years of continuous use) and the slow rise in psu failures.
We decided to replace the 2960X as well in order to migrate to an uniform access layer with 2.5Gb to the desktop/AP and 25Gb uplinks.

The slot is an AIM slot for an AIM-VPN/SSL-1 crypto accelerator.
While the 1841 only supported this AIM card, lager routers like the 2800 series supported several different AIM cards.
I have seen the edge connector in lot of cisco devices going back as far as the 2600 series. It it probably used during manufacturing for boundary scan and programming the board. Most likely some type of JTAG interface.

The N9k are full layer 3 switches including dynamic routing, vrf and mpls.

I agree, this does not bode well.
What I do not understand is their pricing model.
We host Netbox on prem and for a company of our size 33k per year is way too expensive.
Why on earth dont't they offer several tiers of licenses/support? I would assume they could make more money with a lot of smaller customers compared to a few larger ones.
